  1. Think Glock made of metal
  2. Flat backstrap and bigger sights
  3. Looks like New Orleans style violence to me. There are plenty of idiots to go around. I agree that the Tea Party bunch has probably been a victim of some media bias. That may wind up helping them.
  4. Why? The current one couldn't have cost more than 50 bucks
  5. The shoe kinda is on the other foot, and the Republicans ARE doing the same thing. Who suffers for that? US
  6. It's not the first time legislation has been pushed thru like that. Those guys have a lot of power right now, and they used it. I do believe it was a "great society" mentality, not a Hitler mentality. Wrong ideals or right, I'm not concerned that they're gonna round up all us rednecks and gass us. Hell, they can't even figure out how to disarm us
  7. Just like the last losers. There won't be riots in the streets.
  8. The only thing you may get to pick is the type of screwing you're gonna get. The depth and girth is gonna be the same, because money controls this country, not the baby kissers. So many on this board believe that if the GOP just gets back into power, it will all turn around. Where did things go when they had "control"? Same direction.
  9. .357 thru my kitchen wall EDIT: I was out of town, or you would have seen ME on channel 5
  10. You can also get smaller bottles of Buffalo Trace, Knob Creek, Makers, etc... most of the small batch stuff. I've never seen Booker's in a small package.
  11. I keep a flask of Bookers in the glove box of my truck. Too bad you're so far away
  12. I have a mini as well, and keep 400 FMJ's, enough to fill my mags. Then again, I don't worry as much about a SHTF scenario as some.
  13. To AR (my brother), I don't have time to go point-by-point right now, but I don't think this is a sinister plot. I have been involved in a LOT of the disaster readiness stuff since Katrina. We (our government) got caught with our pants down on 9/11 AND the Katrina aftermath. The way I view this... It's most likely part of those efforts. El Nino is gonna be gone by June, which means the Gulf states could have another string of disasters. I don't know if you've been unfortunate enough to visit one of the major hurricane areas as a responder, but I have (more than one). I can tell you that it blasts the entire area back into the stone age. We thought nothing of the curfews and the national guard checkpoints. the National guard, and every other agency was overwhelmed after Katrina, and it was small potatoes compared to a Cat 5 storm hitting Miami or Tampa. Anyway... my two cents.
  14. I had to use DOS for my engineering stuff, but had a mac on my desk from '84 until Windows 95 came out. Even tho win 95 was functionally equivalent to Mac OS1 on the surface, it still wasn't near as elegant. Te good news... I was an expert with Excel before it would even run under a Msoft OS
  15. Actually, it began as Command c, x, and v on the Macintosh. Another one of those little things that Microsoft knocked off.
  16. You don't have to worry about me. I'll be drinking Miller Lite. I would watch out for the whiskey and tequila guys
  17. Crown royal and high end Bourbon are real different animals. I like Crown, but don't think it stands up to Buffalo trace, Woodford, or my favorite, Bookers.
  18. You also have to shave your legs and your butt. He'll get to that after you start drinkin'
  19. I'm on salary, and usually withold under. Last year I had some shifts in my payroll withholdings that I didn't catch, reduced mortgage interest, etc. I also do some electronic design consulting on the side, so I had a pretty big 1099. If i could have written my guns of, i would have been good to go
  20. I have these in .45 and 9mm. It's interesting that the standard pressure 9's are 147 gr bullets. Haven't shot any of the 9's yet.
  21. Just drive by them in a Corvette. The smiles will come right back
  22. No offense guys, but the hell with Oak Ridge. I wanna see one right on Priest Lake
  23. Yep, and then it would cost the government $3500 to get rid of the guy. Should only cost a dollar.
  24. Hornady CD doesn't clog. That's their big selling point
