  1. He could have worded it better. But, fact is that if somebody kicks in your front door, you better fear for your life. And, shooting for center mass IS shooting to kill. But, slap a little lawyer slime on it, and you can go to prison for letting the wrong word slip. The local sheriff used the same wording with my girl here after somebody broke into her house... "shoot to kill". Shocked me when she told me that.
  2. They are slowly getting rid of them. They got pronouns and stuff to replace the well trained.
  3. David confirmed last night that he sold Magnum. Gordon sent me some powder coated .458 bullets awhile back. Don't know if he did them personally. Haven't heard from Caster in years.
  4. There are no lot numbers. The 842 came from Lake City. It was military pull down ammo. When the shelf life ran out, they would send it to Lake City, where they would pull the bullets, collect the powder, and then sell it off. David bought tons of that stuff. All the brass was primed. I have a lot of that too.
  5. Yeah. I kinda bumped into him on Facebook. Asked him if his ears were burning. I need to give him a call too.
  6. Like I said, I have a little less than 16 lbs. Works really well for 5.56.
  7. There's ALWAYS money. I haven't figured out the pregnant men yet. But the rest of it has an obvious money trail.
  8. Great guy. I'll never run out of blackout brass because of him.
  9. I have almost 16 pounds of 842 left. We found that it wasn't all that close to CFE223. I never got around to using much of it.
  10. I see him on Facebook some. I think he retired. He mentioned missing the business. I'll look back in his posts. OK... he has been posting quite a bit. Nothing about Magnum. I think he sold it to family.
  11. I always get Nurse Poke-it. Can't hit a vein to save her life.
  12. I've heard St. Thomas is the best in town for heart stuff. Glad you got through it.
  13. AFIK, I can carry all that stuff with my Kentucky license. The laws are real different here. It's called a Concealed Deadly Weapons License. I don't have to pass a background check when I buy a gun either.
  14. Well, I'm a voting member. I guess I should keep an eye on it. I have been ignoring them.
  15. It will be interesting to see if they come clean with their members. And FWIW, I still hope Letitia gats a raging incurable yeast infection, if she doesn't already have one. Her intentions were nothing but evil.
  16. Yep. Instead of destroying it, she may have fixed it. The NRA lost my support because of ole Wayne. Now, they have a chance to regain it. They need some new rules first.
  17. I have a bunch of AR's and a Can cannon. They all have great parts (except my A2). I won't be hurting for great rifles if I build a flimsy one.
  18. If it wasn't for the weight difference, I probably wouldn't own a plastic gun. The New Frontier lower has a lifetime warrantee.
  19. OK. This thread has inspired me. I think I'm going to go for a lightweight AR. The priciest thing will be a low mass BCG. At first glance, the New Frontier Stripped lower and parts kit looks OK. I'll need a light optic too. Any suggestions? I have a Romeo on my closet gun. And, with my new KY permit, I get to skip the background check.
  20. What about weight? I had a thought last week of building a real light AR for old farts. I have a couple of light barrels in the parts box.
  21. This is the best news. Smaller incision(s) means quicker recovery. I had a trip to the OR a few weeks ago, and the general anesthesia kicked my butt. The older you get... I have a shoulder problem too. You are inspiring me to look into it. Best of luck to you.
  22. Our main heat is a gas pack. And, our backup is a ventless gas fireplace. It has saved our bacon a couple of times. And, it pretty much heats the whole house. I don't think I would do an all electric house these days.
