  1. I was in there 2 weeks a go buying a new belt for my EDC holster and saw that they are mighty proud of their used long gun prices. Bill
  2. The prices are cheaper 3 miles down the road at N. Ga Reloading. Not a lot cheaper but cheaper than SW. Bill
  3. I'm loading it for under $.12 each. Looks like it may be time for another RMR bullet order or two before the fall. Bill
  4. I just ordered the mini metric hex head set I need to adjust the trigger on my CZ 457 American. Bill
  5. Does that price include shipping and do I get my choice of wood? Paypal for payment? Bill
  6. Very badass blades there GT. What does one like that run $ wise? Bill
  7. In Chattanooga, N Ga Reloading on Brainerd Rd sells their primers for $4.00 + tax less than Sportsmans Warehouse for 1K worth, ie, $30.99 + tax compared to $34.99 + tax. I have no use for the owner, paul chapman, but their prices are cheaper than SW. This as a PSA of forum members in our area. Bill
  8. I carry on TVA property, every time I launch my bass boat. Never been a problem. Bill
  9. If Champions Choice EVER decides to reopen to retail foot traffic, two friends and I plan to grace their doorway to buy a few test lots, (2-3 fifty round boxes of each brand but different lot numbers) of mid priced Eley, SK, Wolf and maybe RWS to see what works the best in our rifles and then purchase 500 round bricks of that lot number and brand. Remington golden trash and Federal 550 bulk won't cut it when punching paper. Bill
  10. I can't remember how long as it was 8+ years a go but probably around two weeks or so. One1, if you're not a member of CRC, you should be. If you would like a tour of our facility, just ask. Bill
  11. $2K is entry level for serious BR guys. Most of the guns I see used are $5K and above not including the mount they sit in. Bill
  12. Mike usually shoots in the BR50 matches also, run by Tom Reeves. Did Mike happen to make the stock in that mount? Bill
  13. They're not going door to door, kicking them in and taking firearms either. Besides, local LEO has more important things to worry about, like keeping the peace. Check the compliance rates for the states you mentioned, around 5% or less for turning in what the worthless maggots in charge thinks their subjects shouldn't be allowed to own. When I say confiscators, I'm referring to Federal alphabet soup types who have no local ties. Then again, idiots like holder and his minions @ doj couldn't even keep tabs on illegal purchased firearms destined for the cartels in mexico during fast & furious. Bill
  14. That is the first "black" bloop tube I've seen. The rest in the foreground is probably $1K by itself. Anyway, I just purchased a new CZ 457 American for $442.09 shipped from KY Gun Co. The glass is a Bushnell Nitro 6-24x50 Duplex from BPS for $349.99 + tax and I'm waiting on a set of Warne rings to arrive later this week. We have an informal .22LR shoot every Monday morning @ CRC in Ooltewah. Some shoot for the smallest group size while others shoot at aspirin and thumb tacks. All shooting is done @ 50 or 100 yards. Bill
  15. This knife was included free with the purchase of a Bushnell Nitro scope I purchased earlier today. I think it is a skinning knife and I don't have any use for it as I don't hunt. I guess the blades don't hold an edge very well as there are 5 spares included with the knife I may re-gift it or use it for trade fodder. Are they decent quality or pricey junk? https://www.havalon.com/baracuta-blaze-pack-includes
  16. The county rangers patrol it and carry is fine with a permit. Bill
  17. Speak for yourself bub. When confiscators start getting killed, the others will start thinking illegal laws ain't worth dying over. Bill

    Remington 597

No way would I ever dry fire any .22 w/o something in the chamber. I use aluminum snap caps, plastic ones don't hold up very well. Bill

    Colt 6920 AR?

I'll gladly put up my PSA premium m4 w/ FN chrome lined barrel against any stock out of the box Colt 6920 out there as far as reliability and accuracy. I only paid $679.00 OTD for it last summer. Bill
  20. My FFL charges $25.00 + TICS. I've known him for over 25 years and his fee has never changed. Class III are $50.00, no TICS required. Another FFL here charges $15.00 + TICS. You guys up north are getting screwed on transfers. Bill

    Steyr M9A1

There is one for sale on GOC if someone is looking to buy. http://www.###.com/listings/firearms/handguns/507966.html Bill
  22. I have a 1966 3 screw 5.5" convertible, original box and paperwork. I bought it last year from an estate I helped liquidate for the widow. Paid $350.00 Bill
  23. The 229 mold will be fine with me. If it is too loose for the M11, I will just change to the 229 for EDC. I also want it to be a pancake style with a thumb break retention strap similar to the link provided. https://www.craftholsters.com/leather-pancake-holster-w-2-carry-positions?gclid=CjwKCAjwqJ_1BRBZEiwAv73uwFOMHeIuAfNewz_ZVxPXoUphRHQUi0gH6U_ypQFObee25UebXhZJihoCqjYQAvD_BwE The color can be a brown or tan color, I don't really care for black. Bill
