Jreed, thanks for educating me about the sidewalk issues. That makes a lot more sense now. I have only seen a few instances where bikers were doing something dangerous. Does anyone remember the story out Florida(I think) where that guy intentionally slammed on his brakes right in front of a guy on a bike. The guy on the bike went through his rear windshield and was severely hurt. It was terrible. I try to be really save when around bikes. Sometimes I do feel that they are putting me in more danger, especially if they are on a curvy two lane road, but for the most part they seem to be really safe.

I have always wondered the same thing. I don't understand why people ride on the road then there is a perfectly good sidewalk right beside them. I see this a lot in Knoxville.

I personally think Glock got it right with the new Gen 4 texture. Not too abrasive not too light......just right! But I still prefer the talon grips!

I have a Gen 4 23. Had some issues early on but I've finally narrowed it down to a bad magazine. It's a keeper!

I have a cheapo Nemesis holster that works ok. Not the best but does fine for pocket carry. I have a nicer pocket holster on the way though

I'd check out the buffalo bore stuff. I bet they make it for .25 and they generally have the hottest ammo. Personally I wouldn't waste any money of hollow point ammo.

I think the son did just as good as anyone could have. I don't imagine a .44 is very easy to shoot and he was able to hit the bad guy more than once. That SOB is lucky to be alive.

I've not seen one in Knoxville with the exception of a gun show. You could call around and see but my guess is that you will have a hard time finding one. I'd say check the next gun show. That's the only place I've seen one.
