Ya that doesn't make any sense to me why it has to be renewed. What ASP do you guys recommend? 21" ? Is the airweight model worth the extra $?

I would be interested in doing that. I think that's very over priced IMHO. It's just a baton, and if I'm not mistaken you have to renew the certification as well. Can anyone confirm this?

What's confusing about that? If you can legally purchase a firearm then you can take the class. Are you just asking why that is a requirement?
