You once told me you were part black. Now you're not? :squint:  I remember that conversation vividly. 

  For starters, how often is it that white kids or Hispanic kids do this "knockout games". Every incident I've seen has been done by young* black people.   Black people are attacking white people because they are white. 

I like the Ameriglo CAP sights. 

I completely forgot that I created this thread. I made it just 2 months before I got the job offer in FL.   Anyways, not long after writing this FL made it legal to have brief exposure of your firearm so long as it was not intentional. It's still illegal to open carry unless you are camping, fishing and I feel like hunting is included as well.   I still miss having the option to OC.

Glock 21-flawless-some people have reported weak ejection. Glock 23-I had issues when it was new-failures to eject/feed. That was 4 years ago. I've not had a problem with it since then and it's my nightstand gun.   I also want a gen 4 17 and have no concerns with it being unreliable. 

I'll never forget Bronker saying he pocket carries a Glock. I'm almost positive it was the 19 but it may have been the 26.   Either way. Wow!

I really like my Ruger LCR.

  I agree. I was very impressed. I still won't buy one but it's a huge improvement. Ruger still won't ditch the stupid side safety though.

  All the reports I've seen have been positive. Doesn't really appeal to me though. It's a 21 with a longer, thinner slide. If they found a way to make the frame smaller I'd be excited.

I feel you. We've been in Florida for 3 years and we've missed TN since day one.

Do you guys know when these would ship out? I see the closing date. I ask because I'm thinking about getting one for my friend who is getting married on October 12th in Knoxville. This would be a cool gift he would always remember. 

  Same here. I enjoyed it. It's definitely a creative approach to hot sauce. The owners emailed me asking me for feedback too.

Don't ask, don't tell.   That being said, I don't blame him for not wanting to work there. 

I really haven't put that much thought into it. I carry a Glock 19 because I like it. She's reliable, has ample capacity for most situations, and easy to conceal.

That was summer 2012. I remember leaving Orlando and it was in the mid 90's. We got to Knoxville and it was a freak heat wave. I remember it being 104. But everyone in TN told me "but Florida is so hot" when I said I was moving down here. It gets just as hot in TN.

It was 103 in Fort Worth when I was there 2 weeks ago. Just miserable. But, "it's a dry heat"... doesn't make a damn bit of difference.    I just checked, it's only 90 in Knoxville today. That's nothing. TN has seen temps far higher than that.   This is the hottest it has been in FL in the 3 years I've lived here. 97 with 107 heat index.

I hope he's ok. 

The most recent book in the "Holding Their Own" series by Joe Nobody is out.   It's the only one so far that wasn't fantastic. Just good. And I couldn't tell by the ending if there will be another one.

I found 2 50 round boxes of .22 at Dick's today. First time I've seen it in a while.   Something has to give here. This has been going on far too long.

I just bought some ammo at Dicks. They had a whole shelf of .22lr at a 2 box limit. Scored 100 rounds of "quiet" CCI.   Also got a box of .45 at 25% off. They were out of the 9mm.

  I buy at places that have the best prices. I've never seen anything at CTD that I couldn't find elsewhere for less money.
