  1. You guys have absolutely zero proof that it was Tony's car that hit the gas. He won't get in any trouble for this. It's just a bad event all the way around.
  2. And a magazine pouch until 10/31.   That's a pretty damn good deal.   http://gearup.springfield-armory.com/Gearup.asp
  3. What a strange poll.
  4. whew. I shot one of these and hated it. It's up there with the Kel-Tec PF9 for the least enjoyable guns I've ever shot. I found the recoil from that thing to be in close competition to the Ruger LCR in .357
  5. I carry a G19. So I suppose it weighs the same.
  6. .......................
  7.   But why? You didn't answer my question. What advantage do we have in gutting our military? Other than saving money.
  8. For the life of me, I cannot understand why anyone would want us to have a smaller, less capable military. What possible advantage does that have other than saving money?   I'm just as concerned about our debt as anyone on this forum, but cutting military spend is not what I had hoped for.    Has anyone read the Enemies Trilogy by Matt Bracken? By end end of the 3rd book I almost got nauseous when I started connecting all the dots to our own situation.
  9. My fiance didn't think it was that funny.    For the life of me, I don't understand why...
  10. I have the Gen 4 21. It's been a great gun. I've only put maybe 300 rounds down range so far but I've had zero errors. I like it a lot but I've considered selling it because it's just so damn big. For me, it's just not practical for anything other than home defense and maybe an open carry woods gun. It's a beast.   The 41 doesn't excite me. It's the 21 frame with a thinner but longer slide. Most folks have said it has more recoil than the 21.    If you only want the full size gun for home defense/range fun then I'm sure you'll be happy with either one.
  11. That was awesome. I sent it to a few friends.
  12.   Should he have dropped the suit once Kyle died? It was started long before that and even Kyle had a chance to testify before he died. That video was given to the jurors.
  13. I can see both side of this. I don't care for Ventura much and Chris Kyle was a real hero.   That being said, it does appear Chris made up this story and talked poorly about another man who served his country.    I saw this on another forum and tend to agree.
  14. Just saw your response Prag. I've only shot my AR once since I put the red dot on. I pulled it out of the closet the other day and it powered right up.    For the money I'm really happy. Someday I will have a nicer AR and a better optic,  but for now, this is just fine.
  15. Great info above. As info, I've only rented from National and I was very happy. Always for work and they treated me fairly.
  16. .22LR?   Hell, down here we're lucky if we can find 9mm consistently. I've only seen .22lr 5-6  times in the last 18 months. I've purchased some every time.
  17. You guys are harsh man. The point has been made, all that's happening now is salt on the wound.
  18. Photo shows what may be the first person legally carrying a firearm in D.C in more than 70 years.    http://concealednation.org/2014/07/this-could-be-the-first-photo-of-someone-legally-open-carrying-a-firearm-in-dc-in-70-years/
  19. Fox News is reporting that you can now carry concealed or openly even if you are not a D.C resident. So long as you can legally carry in your home state.   I'm not sure if they have any other restrictions such as a 10 round magazine limit though. I would imagine that it still in effect?    Either way, if this sticks I am excited about visiting our capitol. I haven't been since I was a kid. And no, I'm not brave enough to open carry there. It will be concealed.          http://concealednation.org/2014/07/breaking-emily-miller-dc-police-chief-tells-force-to-allow-full-reciprocity-for-concealed-and-open-carry/
  20.   Fixed it for you.   Luke, I'm sure this is hard because you love your fiance but this is obviously a bigger problem than being threatened. What has she said about all this?
  21. I know most of us have benefitted from using this website in the past. I have used it exclusively for several years when traveling.   Here is the message on their website.       http://www.handgunlaw.us/documents/Donate.html        This is horrible financial timing for me but I'm going to throw a few bucks their way.   And no, I'm not affiliated with these guys at all.
  22.   I'm sure the fact that TN doesn't have a state income tax(except for some investments I think) has something to do with this.   FL doesn't have a state income tax and our sales tax is only 6.5%. They get us with these damn toll roads though. I spend around $45/month in tolls here in Orlando.
  23. Brian,   welcome back. I though we scared you away. Thanks for sharing the article.
  24. I've noticed the same thing online. These are going for $159+shipping at several stores.
  25. Does anyone know anything about these? That's a hell of a price.
