  1.   Not everything is a conspiracy Joe. Seemed legitimate to me.
  2.   I'm not saying we should or should not. But how would you feel if your son or wife was on the plane? Would you want the US to do anything?     I don't know what we really could do though. More scary sanctions?
  3. I think they are already pretty sure it was shot down. The question is, will we do anything about it?
  4. Make this a sticky....   Can we call the 333 round box a pouch?
  5. I love the looks of that and the 10mm is an awesome round. I've heard guys say they love the Underwood 10mm ammo.      SGammo has some in stock but it seems high.   http://sgammo.com/catalog/pistol-ammunition/10mm-auto   Then there is this website,   http://ammoseek.com/ammo/10mm-auto
  6.   Huh. That is interesting. I would have never known.
  7.   Fixed it for you...
  8.   thanks. I just got all 3. I'm not familiar with the series but I'll give them a try.   I've been reading the Kyle Tait Series-77 Days in September. Pretty good. Not my favorite but still good.
  9.   Oh! you're right. I looked it for quite a while thinking my eyes were wrong or the picture was off. Good catch sir.   Nice Glock! I've never seen one of those in person.
  10. What the heck is going on with the bottom of the grip? Is something wrong with the picture?
  11. Great info guys. Thanks for sharing. I think I'll avoid renting at all costs.
  12. Thanks for the info. If I could rent it out to someone I know and trust it would be fine but I just don't trust many people. I do have a few friends that life close to the house that I know would check on it for me. But like you all said, if something goes wrong I'm going to have to rely on them to help me with it. Decisions, decisions.
  13. If I end up getting this job back in Knoxville we're torn on what we should do with our house outside Orlando. We paid very little for it and our Realtor has stated we will leave a lot of money on the table if we sell now vs. 2-4 years from now.   If we sell right now, it's going to be very close as to whether or not we will break even or make $3-5K. Personally, I just want to walk away with enough money for a down payment on another house. We owe $135K on the house and it's worth $150K. After all the fees it could go either way.    I'm confident we could rent the house for $300-400 more than our monthly mortgage payment.   One more consideration is that the house is 11 years old and has the original AC and roof. Within the next few years it could end up needing both of those replaced which could cost quite a bit.    My co-worker rented his house out and used a leasing company. They did a background check but the renters stole everything down to the ceiling fans. He ended up having to walk away from the house because of it which ruined his credit for 7 years.
  14. On another forum it was quoted that the vehicle must belong to you. I'm not seeing that in the statute though.      Sorry, only has to do with passengers, which is still silly IMO.     "Passengers may NOT lawfully carry or possess a firearm without a valid permit, unless they are the registered owners of the vehicle."
  15. Question: What happens to all the old rifles and handguns the military is done with? Do they sell/give them to other countries? I never see them for sale, only police trade ins.
  16. Hey, that's pretty generous. I'll take it. At least I can carry during that time while I wait for the TN permit. Plus, with the new vehicle carry law I'm covered in the vehicle regardless.    My TN HCP expired in January and it's been invalid for 3 years. I kept it anyways.
  17. There is a chance(god willing) that I may be moving back to TN. Since I can easily convert my FL permit to a non-resident permit, and TN honors non-resident permits then I'm assuming I should be fine to carry even after I become a TN resident?   If memory serves, I think this is what Kwik did but I'm not positive.   I'm sure I'll eventually get my TN permit too but if I'm right, I won't have to be in a hurry to do so.
  18. Thanks for sharing this. Definitely interesting.
  19.     Save yourself the time. It doesn't get any better. Pretty horrible book honestly.
  20. My friend is a LEO for a small department outside Knoxville. Recently, he admitted that he has no idea what all the laws are surrounding the carrying of firearms.    He also stated he hates open carry. None of which was surprising.
  21. Already gone unfortunately. Wish I had seen this earlier. I'm still torn on building one or just buying one.
  22. I kinda like the idea but I prefer metal cans over plastic.
  23. A friend of mine works near the Air Port in Maryville. He said the air traffic hasn't changed much. The only thing he's seen out of the ordinary was last Sunday there were KC-10's doing touch and go's the entire day.   Where is MajorKong when we need him?
  24. If we actually go back into Iraq I cannot wait to watch Obama eat his words. Someone I'm sure they will find a way to spin it and the media will cover his ass.
  25. I also had 2 Chinook's fly over my house in FL about 2 weeks ago. I've never seen anything like that near my house. All the neighbors came out to watch.   Seemed to be an isolated incident though. I'm not ready to put on my tinfoil hat just yet.
