  I felt the same way until I saw OhShoot's version. Instead of the ridiculous looking buffer tube he has a "cheek rest" which is basically a normal stock. It's a nifty way to have a short barrel AR without having to be on the ATF registry. I still don't know if I'd ever get one but I can see a little more value now.

  I agree. It's not like the guy was rude or threatening. From what the OP said he immediately apologized and went on his way. I'm not saying it's acceptable to trespass but I'd say this was an isolated incident.    Peace, if your wife was that concerned she should be toting a pistol when out and about. 

I'm glad to see this for our GA brethren. One thing FL needs to clarify is what the law actually means when there is a state of emergency here. We are not completely positive if we can still carry during a state of emergency. Given the fact that we are always faced with hurricanes this could be a big problem. 

  I thought you traveled all over the state for your job, they won't let you keep it and work from Nashville?   I'd say you won't have any problems finding work in Nashville.

Lately I've seen more pro-gun stories on CNN than I have anti-gun stories.

I love my Winchester Defender. 7+1 and the action is smooth as butter.

My company has a very vague "no weapons" policy but many of us leave our guns in our cars. How are they ever going to find out?    Florida also has a law that says that employers cannot prevent me from keeping a firearm in my vehicle.

A coworker of mine has a hunting lease on 650 acres near New Smyrna Beach. It's apparently full of wild hogs and you don't need a hunting license on private property down here, at least for hogs. No limit either.   1) Because this property is also a shooting range he thinks the hogs will only being out during non-shooting hours. What's the most common time of day to kill hogs?   2) Will a .223/5.56 be enough? I was thinking about buying some of the .223 soft points Wal-Mart sells.   3) Is it best to sit and wait for them to come to us or try and find them?   4) Is the meat worth harvesting? Some say it's too gamey. There is a place that charges $50 to process the meat. I'm not sure if that's a good deal or not.       Appreciate the help!

  Do we really think a Boeing 777 can really disappear? I suppose anything is possible but I find that hard to believe. First of all, where would one even find a buyer for such an item? Who would have a use for a commercial airliner? Where would they hide the plane?

  And then what? Crashed it into the ocean? Seems to me that if they wanted to kill everyone they would just crash the plane.   Or are we assuming they then landed it somewhere?

Good episode. I would have capped that crazy little witch immediately though.    The "well done" walkers were a creative twist.

I know it's early but me thinks this could be one of the biggest failures to come out in recent years. I'm going to be the first to predict the recall.

Hmm. This concerns me as I use Frog Lube on everything. I've yet to have any problems though.
