Good for you. My brother quit dipping as well. Something that helped him was dipping beef jerky(I think). It was some kind of snack that comes in a dip can.   Anyways, if you get a craving you may want to consider that.     good luck!

While listening to Hannity again today a pilot called in who had years of experience flying the same plane. His theory based on a lot of things I don't comprehend is that the plane landed somewhere on a remote airstrip.   I'm starting to think that if we don't know something in the next few days we will never know.

This entire thing is beyond strange. It's pretty obvious something sudden and catastrophic happened or the pilot would have been on the radio.   On Hannity they said there are only 3 possible scenarios   1)sudden mechanical error 2)pilot intentionally crashed plane 3)the plane was shot down/or blown up with a bomb

I work in logistics/transportation. If you tell me which carriers you have in mind I can look up their CSA score. If it's just one piece of equipment and you're not in a hurry I would recommend CH Robinson LTL.   There is also that business that they do the TV show on. That may be your best best.

  That's affirmative. :up:   I have to double check, but I'm almost positive the frame is not "bent" on my gen 2 19. I also haven't noticed it on my Gen4 21 but I'd have to look when I get home.

It's commenly called the Glock Pig nose. I think 3 of my 4 Glocks have it and all function fine. It's long been believed that while ugly, it shouldn't cause the gun to malfunction.   I'm leaning towards a recoil spring on this but it is strange that it doesn't appear this gun has always had the "pig nose". Call Glock and demand they send you a recoil spring.

The gen 4 glocks feel really nice. I have a gen 2 and 3 19, both are fantastic firearms. 

I'm just not sure it's as simple as the "quality" of the spring. I'm pretty sure Glock puts a hell of a spring in their magazines, or they wouldn't be as reliable as they are. This still does not explain why even a good quality spring will be easier to compress after only a few days.

Hell, I'm 25 and even I don't understand people my age.    I was in Market Square(downtown Knoxville) today and had to shake my head at all the youth that walked by. I'm not even sure what "style" to call it. Granted this is one of the most yuppie places in east TN but it was still much worse than I remember. It looked like every kid there was planning to audition as back up singers for Justin Bieber. That's the only way I can describe it.   I don't think I passed a single person who has touched a hammer or screwdriver in their life.

  Interesting. I'm not saying that just because you leave a magazine loaded, it will eventually stop functioning. I think we've seen a lot of evidence to suggest the opposite. There have been numerous stories of soldiers returning from WW2 with loaded 1911 magazines that functioned perfectly after 50 years.   But I don't buy the logic that loaded magazines won't weaken the spring.
