  1. Indeed. Thankfully ours are only on a delay today. Hopefully it'll begin to dry out. I believe the golf clap would have been appropriate at that moment...

Why? Because they're uninformed, ignorant or their boss is. Want a laugh, hand them a US passport.
  3. Blazing Saddles is one of the greatest comedies ever! My wife and I love it and quote it all the time. The neutered version they show on tv is terrible. We made my parents watch it several years ago. We laughed hysterically, them... not so much. :D ".... tell him I said ow, got it."

I hope Kanye is on the front row. :D
  5. Cool. Seems like if you have a drill to tighten the bolts, you could use it to raise the trap instead of the winch.

Your DL number and your HCP number are the same.
  7. I thought about shoveling the slush yesterday. It's mostly gone today. Sometimes laziness pays. :) But it's even foggier now than this morning. :/ .
  8. Sounds like the jars are over filled. Some things boil up more than others. As for the seal integrity, I'd say it's fine. If you're concerned, just be careful when you open the jar and clean off any residue.
  9. Have I mentioned that I'm tired of this crap weather? It's 37 deg and foggy. Humbug.
  10. Unless they're masking the bore, the inside of the barrel does get coated with their process. The thickness of the coating is of no functional consequence.
  11. Since you've got 18 acres, is there any way to stretch one out to 300 (or more) yds?
  12. That's the gold colored coating that's been put on drill bits for years. If you've got a gun that you plan to put tens of thousands of rounds through and/or you use dirty ammo and just want to make cleaning it easier... maybe it's worthwhile. Or if you just want it to look purdy...
  13. Melting with drizzle here, temp up to 42 at the moment. Let the mud and floods begin...
  14. 300 yds is really close. People shoot (handguns mostly) about 500 yds from my house. While it's not loud, it's plainly audible inside my house.
  15. Certainly! You'd need to provide the ammo, of course. HD video would require a small additional fee.
  16. Zoning? In east TN?
  17.         I'll gladly extend the same courtesy to you.  :)
  18. I've read that simply looping a length of nylon rope through the wheel works to get one out of a pinch.
  19. Send me the gun (or the money) and I'll make sure your wife never sees it.  :)
  20. I like #1 best followed closely by #3. For a daily carry type thing, all 3 seem a little big for neck knives. I'd think OAL would be closer 4-5". If it's more a bush knife, then I'd think they're about right.
  21. Talk to the Sullivan Co. Sheriff. As long as you've got a proper backstop, they should be fine with it. Noise complaints will be your biggest issue.
  22.     Amen.  I never get that lucky.

  24. Wonder if that's what I heard about 5:45 this morning?  My first thought was something just landed on my roof, but there's nothing above my house but air.  I walked around outside and didn't see anything.  I'll check in the attic when I get home this evening.
  25. My wife just texted me a list of groceries to pick up on my way home.  Guess what the first 2 items are....  :D
