Oxford MS Police handing out vouchers instead of tickets.

Did any of those schools specifically address awareness of motorcycles? If so, what guidance did they give? Headlights certainly make a vehicle more visible and can improve reaction times slightly. But they make less conspicuous vehicles even more so. Perhaps the percentage of motorcycles on the road is low enough that it doesn't wag the needle. I understand the risks and ride one anyway. -
Doberman, Boxer, Shepherd, Mastiff, Bull Terrier, .... or some mixture thereof. I'd also recommend a rescue. A friend raises/trains Malagators (Malinois) for service and K-9 duty. Properly trained, theyre awesome. All of his I've met are big pussycats until certain words are spoken (not in English) and then it's game on. The transformation is astonishing. But it takes a lot of training to get there.

I have a similar cabinet and the only ammo in there is a few loaded rifle mags. The ammo is in boxes or cans in the floor next to the cabinet.

Leo is awesome. Rob Scallon is pretty good too.

I have a Crossman Vantage and the trigger is bad. Understand that I'm not a high end 1.5lb trigger snob... most of my milsurps have stock triggers and I'm fine with that. On the other hand, this Crossman poor. Like Red Ryder poor. Any suggestions?

That's why I got one. And so I can target shoot in my back yard.

Jim Breuer is awesome. Mike Chlasciak is too. I'd love for riff rock to make a comeback.

If every vehicle has its lights on during the day, the vehicles that you'd particularly want to stand out, don't. They're just another light in the sea of lights. It's no different than if no one had their lights on. -

I'm actually strongly against daytime lights. Some vehicles need DRL's to enhance their visibility... motorcycles (me), school buses, emergency vehicles, etc. All cars with their lights on during the day totally defeats the purpose. Neither of my vehicles have an LCD dash, but the 2004 Chevy has light sensitive auto headlights and the 2006 Toyota doesn't. Go figure. -

Do they have vouchers to get a brain for people who drive at night with no lights on? I see that routinely. I think a main issue is newer cars with LCD type instruments. Use to you'd look at the dash, see nothing and realize you'd forgotten to turn your lights on. The LCD instrument clusters are on regardless and automatically adjust brightness based on ambient light. If the car doesn't have automatic headlights, it's easy to not notice your lights aren't on, especially with street lights. -
Isn't the way to remain anonymous to not sign the ticket, create a trust, and have the trust accept the award?

People are stupid and you can't fix that.

She should run against Harris with Ben Sasse.

Why? Because they've made a few mistakes along the way. The quality can be spotty along with their customer service. The low cost makes them an easy target. My PT145 has been great. So has my Keltec, Rugers, S&W's, Remington's, ...

My employer has a facility in Winnipeg. I heard talk of -64F there this week. Brrrr.

I would love to see a 21st century FAL. It could lose some weight and gain some capacity with modern materials.

Don't use them as compost unless you want a couple hundred little melon vines to magically appear in the spring. AMHIK.

Interesting siding on that house. Looks kinda like shingles made to look like stone tacked onto the wood. Caption... y'all bring me some taters from the cellar to go in this rabbit stew.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggles with that. It takes way more effort than I think it should to convince myself to not worry about it. A guy I know carries a G19X IWB. The butt of the pistol sticks way out and to me, it's comically obvious. Yet no one seems to notice or care. I see that and wonder why I have to talk myself into wearing the 9 on my belt (which is nearly invisible by comparison) instead of the 380 in my pocket. That aside, I'd agree that the tomcat is quite wide by current standards. Give the Shield 380 EZ a look.
