  1. A better solar generator or better panels? The option I looked at had 200w panels or maybe it was two 100w panels, don't really remember.
  2. What size Jackery do you have? I was looking at the 1000 when they were on sale in the fall, but didn't know anyone with first hand experience with them. I thought it might be a nice quiet option.
  3. KRG Bravo is a 12in LOP and they sell a kit to increase it to 14in. Volquartsen has a stock with15in LOP.
  4. That's because Mac was out of gum and lost his paperclip.
  5. Most ppl probably don't realize but your insurance company offers a service to speak with a Case manager that will guide you through the process and help you get the care you need. I have family that works as a Case manager for BCBS, specifically oncology related. It wouldn't hurt to find out what her insurance provides, if nothing else than to answer questions.
  6. I haven't looked into sling style stands, but with bow hunting scent control is even more important due to the proximity. Keep your movements minimal and slow if you can't conceal well while in the saddle. Also take into consideration exit points when aiming since you will be elevated.
  7. I've done that to keep our kids cool to watch fireworks years ago when they were little and couldn't handle a particularly hot July 4th night.
  8. In college, the guys liked to watch the same movies over and over.....and over. One of the movies in rotation was Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. I walked into the house one day after class while it was on and Shortround was on the screen. Somebody turned around and said something to the effect of "look you're on tv" and they all got a laugh. Being college guys, the name stuck.
  9. I still have many many years before I can retire, but i find day hikes relieve any stress/anxiety and relaxes the mind. There are plenty of easy trails within a hour of your home to try (I'm in the same area). It should help some with the arthritis too.
  10. We're getting a few flurries outside of Memphis but nothing to really call "snow". Winds are picking up though.
  11. Casio G-shock Mudman . I'll see the time on my phone while reading something and still look at my watch out of habit.
  12. Primary arms has a pouch about the size you're looking for on sale. https://www.primaryarms.com/primary-arms-first-aid-pouch-coyote
  13. If you're looking for that style pouch, at one time the Army surplus store on Collierville square had them for a decent price.
  14. I haven't had bees empty one, but I did catch a squirrel draining mine faster than Augustus Gloop.
  15. Keep an eye out for sales to make it a little more tolerable. I use a combo of Under Armor for a base layer, then Columbia/UA for outer upper body layers. My pants for cold weather are Midway USA brand and work really well without being overly expensive.
  16. No but I'd LMAO seeing someone carrying the world's longest extension cord.
  17. Hell yeah it was. You must be in my neighborhood. I passed out with a battery powered fan on my chest.
  18. If you can shoot the requirements at 600yds in the competition, you bypass the 200 and 300yd qualification requirement. If nothing else, it's a time saver.

    Arthritus

If its not related to a cervical injury and a true form of arthritis , reduce your intake of foods high in purines. This typically helps with gout type arthritis but may do you some good even if it's not gout. Also try black cherries, pineapple for bromelin and fish oil for the inflammation if you don't want to use a lot of NSAIDs.
  20. Looks like you're on the west end of the state. There's a shooting complex called K&M Precision that's about an hour west of you. I took a class there back in October. Very nice facility. 1200yd range, 300/500yd movers, unknown distance range. Might be worth checking out. Not sure of the membership fees.
  21. I was given a couple of these 3-4yrs ago, half as a joke, after seeing folks cook with it on a game show. Supposedly they task acceptable https://www.amazon.com/Yoders-Canned-Fully-Cooked-Bacon/dp/B006YXOOI6
  22. Molasses and trace mineral salt poured on a stump worked well for me
  23. Probably didn't realize what he was voting on.
  24. You may want to add more items ro stop a bleed, depending on the trauma you're willing/prepared to take on. My wife (a nurse) just had to dig into her kit this past weekend while out of town when she and 2 other nurses rolled up on a large accident on the highway. What they needed most while waiting for EMTS to show up was multiple pairs of gloves, tons of gauze and irrigation.
