  1. The Comp-Tac.com belt arrived by USPS on Saturday April 24th. Just 5 days order to delivery. The first thing I noticed was the shinny nickel buckle. I read a post on another forum the buckle was cheap and he replaced it right way. This must have been personal preference because it looked just fine to me. The belt was ordered with Velcro lining to support the V-Clips purchased with my MTAC holster. The Velcro lining covers approximately 90% of the belt. I like the belt so much it’s going to be my primary belt when carrying or not. :woohoo::woohoo:

    earth day

Encourage the belching and flatulence of livestock.
  3. Emailed Loopers and asked for a production time esimate without response. Sounds to me like they have a good product with poor customer service. So I went with the Comp-Tac Kydex Reinforced Contour Belt w/ Velcro lining. Ordered: 04/19/2010 In Shipping: 04/21/2010 Should be here by next week and I will let you know if it was a good choice.
  4. Those are some good looking photos. Ordered MTAC 04/08/2010 and 04/20/2010 got word it's in shipping. As an afterthought I ordered their Kydex Reinforced Contour Belt with the Velcro lining. Expect a Velcro report next week.
  5. I am sure this is on everyone's calendar. Finance, Ways & Means Committee takes up HB3125 @ 2pm today.
  6. I thought about joining the group to post, but also didn't see the point. Those who already joined seem to have the anti's:wall: out-posted.
  7. That may just be the funniest post I have read on TGO!
  8. My job doesn't take me to unfamiliar places, but which real headline would you rather be? I know. It's not really a choice. +1 for legal carry. A pizza deliveryman won't face charges for fatally shooting a would-be robber several times when he was approached in a high-crime area, but his employer, Pizza Hut, has fired him for violating a company policy against carrying firearms. or Flint police say a pizza delivery man is dead. He was shot during a robbery Wednesday night.
  9. I pleased its a good belt, but two months. Ouch.. They are half the price of most others. Was it special order? Velcro?
  10. Is there an update on Loopers? I am thinking about purchasing one this week.
  11. I got out of LaVergne (Close to Antioch) 3 years ago and Mt Juliet is where I landed. A couple weeks ago News Channel 5 had video of the house next to my old home being raided for drugs.
  12. Watch this Saturday Night Live (SNL) skit making fun of Broadview Security. I am not normally a fan, but it's great! Hulu - Saturday Night Live: Broadview Security
  13. NCA (http://www.nca-alarms.com/about.html) and Advanced Alarm Technologies (http://www.advancedalarmtechnologies.com/) are both $9.95 per month without contract and you can cancel anytime with written notice. I had ADT (Expensive Contract = Stupid Tax) for 3 years then went to NCA. I had NCA for 5 years until I purchased a new home. I asked NCA to reprogram the alarm in my new home and they couldn’t reprogram that model. I contacted Advanced Alarms and they could. I have been a customer of Advanced Alarms for 2 years 11 months. Edit: I had ADT before NCA and what I found with NCA and Advanced Alarm is "They will call your home if the alarm goes off regardless of how quick you turn it off". ADT did not call if shutoff in under one minute. If ADT didn’t call how was I suppose to give them the wrong code word to summon the police? That is why I dumped ADT. You would not go wrong with either of these companies.

If that is a joke it was awesome. If that really happened it was really awesome.
  15. If I read this wrong someone will correct me, but it may be "necessary ($$$$)" for you to get a Tennessee permit because you work in the state. www.state.tn.us/safety/handgun/reciprocity.htm "A person who is employed in this state for at least thirty (30) hours a week for six (6) consecutive months is required to obtain a Tennessee handgun carry permit within six (6) months from the last day of the sixth month of regular employment in Tennessee. A Tennessee handgun carry permit will be issued in this situation only if the other state has eligibility requirements that are substantially similar to the eligibility requirements of Tennessee. If the eligibility requirements from the other state are substantially similar to the eligibility requirements of Tennessee, Tennessee may issue a Tennessee permit to the person employed in this state under the renewal provisions of Tennessee law."
