    New job

Just across the state line in Bowling Green Ky. Bowling Green Metal Forming is the actual name of the plant. We build automotive structures which are frames , engine cradles , class 3 hitches , inner body panels , sub frames front and rear for several OEM makes. Same here on the drug tests , not enough qualified people would be more accurate than my previous statement.

    New job

My workplace cannot find enough people for the work we have. Anybody need a job???.....www.magna.com
  4. Tried to renew membership....it tells me I have already purchased one and cannot purchase another??? Is this correct?
  5. "The difference, though, is that the sheepdog must not, cannot and will not ever harm the sheep. Any sheepdog who intentionally harms the lowliest little lamb will be punished and removed. " I do not think Grossman has been keeping up what the gov't and some LE are getting away with.
  6. Changed to gmail , no worky , then found resend button and tried again , no worky , then changed back to original email and it worked. Looks like I am in at Shooters Nation. Where do I put the 9 vs 45 thread ? ( that is a joke )
  7. I suppose I just lack imagination. i have tried a few scenario based training events and I just don't get much out of it. It is scripted and predictable and I just don't get it. I would like to attend more of William April's presentations.
  8. I am signed up for this one and looking forward to it.

  10. https://civiliandefender.com/2017/11/09/nashville-middle-tennessee-training-opportunity-with-dr-william-aprill-and-john-murphy-the-effective-armed-citizen/ I have sat through a couple of lectures from William April and consider him worth the time and very informative , do not know anything about the other person.
  11. I just put the flat trigger kit in a 2.0 but not for the same reason as most. I was fine with the stock trigger pull/break but being just a little above average in size ( OK , more than a little ) I wanted the trigger reach to be longer. So I run the flat triggers to get more distance to the trigger from the grip. I used what the kit calls the "duty, carry springs" and the pull measures 4.5 pounds with a good break.
  12. The downrange thing is blown out of proportion to what actually happens or at least to what was done when I took the class.. One of the instructors took pictures from between targets stands but it was after they had watched us shoot , he picked people that were not missing and was never in the direct line of fire. No firearms were thrown...they had the shooters hold their pistol out in front of them and drop them. Then recover them and fire a drill. Not a big deal at all.
  13. Check out the schedule on Rangemaster.com , Tom Givens runs some very good training classes.
  14. The mindset lecture is straight out of John Farnham's book or at least it was when I took the class. It is a weekend burning powder and nothing wrong with getting in some practice.
  15. Competition Electronics ProChrono Pal , S&W M&P 5 inch factory barrel. 16. Anything in the former Rangemaster building these days ?

    .357 sig

I have 357 barrels for my .40 pistols. I like the round myself , accurate and flat shooting. I am not all that recoil sensitive compared to many but do not think it is bad to shoot.
  18. I will be ordering some of the mags and cutting down a FS or two. I already own them and with the LE trade ins and 2.0 pistols they have little to no resale value. The original FS with the grip cut down will be very close in size with only a touch more slide length.
  19. SG Ammo has magtech 9mm pretty cheap right now.
  20. The safety also being the de-cocker is a no go for me. Not that I would buy a small pistol anyway. I do like a hammer better than a striker but have and use both. Hammers just hit harder and have had some rounds not fire in striker pistols.
  21. Americas Best Value Inn Reserved a room here for the Fight at Night class through hotels.com and paid for the room with a debit card on the website. When I checked in the fellow asked for a credit card for " incidentals " which I found strange considering the hotel. So....I have been waiting for my statement....and someone in Tenn racked up some charges on it 2 weeks after the class. The hotel may have nothing to do with it but I just carry it as a back up for emergency and do not use it very often. It was the only place in Tenn. I have shown it. So....if your training in Dayton maybe take a look for another hotel.
