  1. I have only held the Kel Tec not the LCP, but the grip on the LCP looks more comfortable.

    NEW LCP

There are 70 folks on the waiting list at Benton's shooter supply...
  3. My first gun was a crossman bb/pellet gun. My first real gun was a Remington .22lr, I wish I still had it... The crickets look like a nice starter, but I will probably try to find a Remington single shot for my boy when he is ready.
  4. I bumped my old thread about the gas piston conversion from bushmaster but I am curious about this one too.
  5. That is a very nice looking rifle, sir.
  6. Just wondering if anyone has tried this out?
  7. I have a Winchester Model 94 30-30 that I love.
  8. I searched and didn't see a thread on this. http://www.bushmaster.com/products.asp?cat=6#GP-GSR Anyone done it?
  9. I believe the war for states rights made it clear, that is not the case with state laws. The federal government does not have to pay any attention to them.
  10. That was not my intention. My intention was to get a feel as to what folks felt they would do. It happened in NOLA and it could happen again anywhere.
  11. I know there are LEOs and Military folks on here, would you go door to door collecting our guns if instructed? Would you be insubordinate?
  12. I think the 10th Amendment answers the question: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. Unfortunately, the government has already shown that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights mean nothing.
  13. Montana steps up regarding DC v. Heller. " HELENA—Secretary of State Brad Johnson joined the many other Montanans who have weighed in on the DC v. Heller case currently before the U.S. Supreme Court. A letter to the editor from Johnson appeared in today’s Washington Times, urging the court to protect an individual’s right to bear arms. “This is an important issue for Montanans,†Johnson said. “Many of Montana’s elected officials spoke out on this issue; I am proud to be among them.†The letter can be found at this link. Johnson’s letter argued that Montana’s agreement with the United States to enter the union included Montana’s constitution at the time, which guaranteed the right of “any person†to bear arms. He urged the Supreme Court to uphold an individual rights interpretation of the Second Amendment, rather than a collective interpretation, as best in keeping with Montana’s Compact with the United States. Many other elected officials around Montana have concurred in a statement of the same argument, in a bipartisan effort to defend Montanans’ individual right to keep and bear arms. The list of officials, as well as their resolution, can be found at: http://www.progunleaders.org." http://sos.mt.gov/News/archives/2008/February/2-19-08.htm

  15. I hope this is not a repost, but... http://blog.riflegear.com/archive/2007/12/26/hello-kitty-ar-15---evil-black-rifle-meets-cute-and.aspx
  16. Thanks. Ok, so the handguards are insulated on the patrolman. What difference other than aesthetics is the barrel profile?
  17. Anybody know the difference between the SuperLight Carbine (BCWA2F 16SL) and the M4 Type Patrolman's Carbine (BCWA2F 16M4)? The only thing I see is the 16sl weighs 1/10th of a pound less.
  18. Thanks for the info. I went by Sportsman's last night and he does not rent, but did try to convince me of a 23 as well. edit: or perhaps what he actually said, is he had no g23s for rent...
  19. Anyone familiar with any ranges local to the Chattanooga area that rent? I have been looking at getting a g22, but all the gun shops try to talk me into a g23. I know the g23 is smaller, which is good for certain reasons, but I aint to sure about the feel and have never shot one. any direction is much appreciated.
  20. Noobie here wanting to say hello before I make my way around. I have a winchester .30-30 but am looking at adding a glock g22 in the near future.
