  3. I dont know.. I am thinking if that Bobo guy had a gun and you didnt... is Aleve really worth risking your life over? I prolly would have done the same thing..I hate thiefs.. but not knowing if he was armed or not.. maybe that would have made me think. And the bite thing.. get tested ASAP.. who knows what this guy is infested with.
  4. I bet once you take all that make up off and the hair isnt coifed up to the hilt.. she would prolly look more her age.. And I think it boils down to one thing here.. He is an actor.. he has money.... At 16 you really need parents to be there for you to make good choices... apparently hers are not around?
  5. As a woman ,I am not sure what to think of it.. Looks like it would cut into the breasts.. And I am not flat chested so having added weight there and it being somewhat wedged in there.. They really didnt think this thru .. Now if someone would only develop a holster that clips onto my saddle... ../sigh Petra
  6. Took that class last night.. will be shooting today at the Sevier range.. Learned a few things, people where nice and would recommend it to anyone.. Unless you have taken it or know what is going on.. dont bash them.. Makes you look like ...well.. you know..
  7. Just dont hit me while I ride my horse behind the range..I can hear you guys banging away down there..
  8. For those that need it still or want to send their spouse ( female) Heard nothing but good things about it and very reasonable actually I signed up for it.. 28 dollars for the class and a 15 dollar range fee.. June 3-4, 2011_CONFIRMED Handgun Carry permit class_SFWA
  9. Between my husband and I , we have plenty to shoot.. Now if I could only convince him that I need another horse , we would be golden.. hehe
  10. I had one on my old Tempo years ago that was "PMS and a Handgun, any questions?"
  11. Have not heard any of them up here.. I love the sound of those little critters.. especially when my cats drag one inside and play with it for an hour .. and then they get under the couch and make a racket for 3 more hours ..lol
  12. you got it The lax imigration laws is the whole problem.. that and the fact that a lot of germans are to proud to even work medial jobs..sound familiar?
  13. As a German woman.. born and raised there.. I have to say.. this is nothing new.. To bad her efforts are falling on deaf ears.. Its a problem.. even back when I was a teenager.. I used to live beside a German army base..went there for open door days .. was always fun.. riding tanks.. taking tours etc.. Now its a immigrant housing complex...Its horrid I am so glad I left in 1985. Its going to get worse.. we are the catch-all for the worst of the worst ...
  14. Great.. just what we needed.. Went into Knoxville yesterday and Kingston Pike looked like a twister hit it.. I am glad that we are getting rain.. we need it.. but jessshh.... Be safe everybody
  15. Being from Germany ..I can tell you.. TN is not as bad as people say it is.. only time I do not like it here is in the winter.. I want snow.. not this 1 inch dusting we get.And then there is no milk or bread to be had in the stores because people freak out that its spitting snow.. But very beautiful in the spring and summer.. Oh.. and Cornbread IS NASTY.. its like eating chicken scratch.. dont eat it..
  16. Good Grief.. is this still going? Its really odd.. ALL these people and friends " see " the big cats.. And with everyone having a cell phone.. least you think they can snap a picture of it.. or at least a tail or paw print..but ..alas.. No pics.. no proof.. Eyesight goes bad when you get older or when drunk.. Oh and if you would like to see a big cat.. come to my house.. My Main Coon will beat up your panther
  17. Rauol: Nice find Looks like alot of greys.. the greys here dont get that big, least I have never found any that where this size We are going one more time this weekend , should be pretty fruitful. Vontar... we thought this year was a bad one ourselfs.. late frost.. bad winter... but they are out there.. they might just didnt go this year..
  18. Look for wooded areas .. under trees. alongside dead trees that are rotted. They grow anywhere where there is soil they like.. We have been pondering different scenarios on where they grow.. but they grow everywhere. We look under shaded areas in the woods. Rocky areas usualy yield the grey ones .. There are so many people saying where they grow.. one thing is for sure.. they do grow everywhere in the woods.. You just have to look.. we never found them by mayapples or under needle trees..( cedar etc..) soil is to acid.. We did luck into a patch that was under a certain tree.. we dont know what kid of tree but there was a patch that yielded around 30 mushrooms..and all very large shrooms.. There is a poisonous variety of these.. they have solid stems inside..DO NOT EAT THOSE... But we have been shroom hunting for years and NEVER seen one with a solid stem .. HOLLOW stemmed ones only .. We never gotten sick ..and we have been picking them for years. These things are ugly as sin but they taste better than any of the ones you find in the store. A dried ounce sells for 40 bucks..But we do not sell them anyway..
  19. Hubby and I did a little shroom hunting this past weekend.. Morels are growing like mad and we found a few super secret squirrel patches. 2 different days and 2 different patches yielded about 7 lbs for both days.. Its ok to drool
  20. Around here most of the people see things that are not there.. I think all the meth has gone to their heads..
  21. LOVE pits.. raised em for years, now own a little rednose.. well she owns Dolomite actually.. Nice story.. not the usual pit eats kitten or mauls baby crapp
  22. Duly noted Ebow1.. Wont clean it until I find out what it is.. We also found a old car dial.. looks to be a gauge of some sort but cant tell what model. .and a clock cog.. or a wheel with teeth.. I really dont care if its a antique.. I just like finding stuff. Its really fun to dig in the dirt and seeing something that other people owned so long ago.. I wish I could get a story on some of the old stuff we unearthed
  23. How big of a man do you have to be to beat any animal? What goes on in a persons brain to do such things? starving, beating or abusing animals in anyway makes me want to puke. Humans are *******s..
  24. Have to correct something. There was a house there.. Husband said it wasnt there 35 years ago.. so it was gone before he set foot on it..Going to find out tommorow who lived there.. I also looked some more on internet and the mailbox idea or some sort of ornamental thingy is prolly more like it.. if its just a neat little ornamental find then I prolly will polish it up and mount it on the back of my saddle.. And here we thought we can retire.. lol Thank you for all the info and help.. stuff like this drives me absolutly nuts not know what it is..
