My brother sold a pistol to a guy he knew in Virginia, but he was told by a gunshop owner that it had to go through a FFL on both ends... I wonder why he said that, then?

You can send it from your home to the FFL in his state, though (not so for pistols, just long guns). I think all it requires is a photocopy of your ID included in the package. Just got a LW lower sent to me from a guy in NC that way.

My wife and I went shooting yesterday at Thanksgiving with my family, and I woke up today to find this list on the fridge (to remind herself): "Clean rifle Clean kitchen" I am a lucky guy.

At the beginning, people have had troubles with modifying a DI rifle with these kits... Tolerances and whatnot. They may be good, now. I now understand how useless this post was since you're looking at the actual complete upper... But I haven't heard anything negative about them.

I got a first Gen off a guy over on ARFCOM, never shot (he never got an upper for it). I'm sending off the payment today, should have it in my hands early Dec. My phone takes ****ty pictures, but I'll do my best. Mating it with a RRA upper. You should shoot me a message if you're ever in the area (provided I don't have any hiccups). Anyway, I was going to do it that way, but I was curious if a local shop could have a better turn-around time.

So, I'm pulling the trigger on a Lone Wolf lower, and I'm hesitant to send them my bolt because I don't want to wait forever to get it back. Does anyone else know of a place that can do it, locally? Thanks. I was thinking Predator Customs, but who else?

I think it's ~$30 at Wally World, currently. And the ending was pretty epic. I'm closing the book on episode 4 of season 4 currently. Damn wait--every 72 mins of video, gotta wait 30 to 60 mins...
