  1. Nice to hear. I have the same model and fortunately I haven't had an issue. I really to like this gun alot for CC and reliability. Thanks for the update.
  2. I agree. I have a Kholster for my SR9c and it is very comfortable and durable. It is very similar to the CBST and has the lower price.
  3. Been there since April last year. Not glowing yet and hope not to anytime soon!! Haha!
  4. Wow! You hit the nail on the head and no one should be offended. You have found the words that I couldn't to describe how I feel on that matter.
  5. "THE PRESIDENT" is also a symbol of our country. Agreed.
  6. I guess I shoulda posted this last month when I joined. Been lurking around here a bit and recently started posting when I recieved my HCP and purchased a Ruger SR9c from TCGD in Elizabethton, TN. Not a whole to say about me. Did a six year enlistment with the Air Force crewing F-15 fighter jets down in Florida. Separated in April '09. I'm currently working at a nuclear facility doing security as of now. Attending school to get a bachelors in business. I'm 26, married to a lovely lady and have two dogs, a pomeranian and siberian husky. Looking forward to getting to know you guys!
  7. Maybe I should explain my situation a little better. I work for a contract security company but we have to be commissioned police officers due to the nature of our job and for the transport of weapons to and from work. Also, my jurisdiction lies only on company property or if a crime starts on company property, we pursue the individual/s. That being said, while I have LEO credentials, I don't work for the city, county, or local sheriff's office. BTW, got my Wally Walk out of the way today. Wasn't bad at all although, I was wearing a jacket. Very comfortable and at times forgot I even had it.
  8. Well my wait is over! I received my permit yesterday. Application and fingerprinting on Sept. 23 and received on Oct. 9th. So only 16 days. Not to bad for govt. work!
  9. Right. I just had my DD214 for a just in case measure. I had a letter for the training requirement. Since my "birth certificate" was actually a record of live birth, she said my DD214 would take the place of the birth certificate. It wasn't used as an acceptable form for HCP carry class or military handgun training used to satisfy that requirement.
  10. Thanks fallguy. That blurp about the military is what I read and was trying to get across but I was vague with my answer as not to mislead or misinform someone.
  11. I believe for military to be excluded you have to prove you've had so many hours of weapon training but I'm pretty sure that would need to be handgun training. I was a crew chief for F-15's so I didn't get much weapon training except with the M-16 and M-4. As far as LEO credentials, I had a letter written from them to turn in showing the training I went through.
