  1. yep I sold my glock. I never carried it so I didn't see a reason to have it. I just didn't feel comfortable with it. I did get my LCP back today. Now I need to test it out, since I haven't yet.
  2. yeah mine has a diamond too.
  3. Sent my gun on the 17th and it arrived today. So mine was like 4 buisness days. Yippee. Now I need to shoot the thing.
  4. I also agree that this time of year is worse than any. Bad time to have my gun on recall huh.
  5. Well the gun is mine but he can have the hat. HA! I don't think I will be wearing it. Although he has the SR9 hat. I guess I could wear it when I go to the range. Everyone would know we are a Ruger family huh. I am really excited about the finger grip for it too. I think it will make a big difference in the feel. I was going to get me one anyway so now I wont have to.
  6. FYI- If anyone is having a problem with UPS picking up because of work they will email you a packaging slip and you can print it and drop it off any any UPS drop off facitlity. I did that since I had to work today. Now it is already there.
  7. Well I got my box today. HA
  8. Wow that is fast. When my hubby had the sr9 recall he also got a hat. He is hoping we get one for the LCP. HA
  9. Well............. Maybe I am being impatient but I know for a fact they don't do first come first serve on these recalls. My mom did her lcp recall sheet a week or two after me and she has already sent hers back. She got it probably a week or so ago. I want mine fixed since I have never shot it yet. HAHAHA!
  10. Thanks everyone. I was the big 30 yesterday. I keep hearing it is all down hill from here. Packin mama- We don't celebrate Halloween so Jude didn't get a costume. I bet Cameron was so stinkin cute.
  11. Of course the SR9 effected my hubby now the LCP will effect me. Thanks for posting this.
  12. Packin Mama- Jude is in a parents day out program with a local church. He goes twice a week for 5 hours. I miss him so much when he is there but I can get all my errands done and house work (If I make myself do it) and time for reading. You should look to see if you have one in your area. I know some places are only once a week but it would help him get used to going to school too and get him comfy around other kids. That is the biggest reason we did for Jude. He didn't know how to play really! HA! I have noticed a huge difference in him.
  13. Well lets see........... I have a 21 month old! (That tells you how busy I am.) Plus we are starting potty training very soon. My son loves sitting on the potty. Just hasn't used it yet. HA! (I am dreading it but it has to be done ,right!) Just started a new church about a month and half ago. We really love it and go to three services each week. I work on Fridays at the YMCA day care room and one Saturday a month. Cooking, Cleaning, Laundry, Laundry and more Laundry. (Its a never endind cycle.) As for Guns: Just got my Ruger LCP. I have not shot it yet but hope to very very soon. Packinmama- Yeah on the potty training. Any tips. Mrs.S- good luck Job hunting. Angel- Yeah on the promotion. Hi everyone else.
