  1. My wife said if she were dude, she would sue the mayor for making him tap it out, to keep his job. Using her authority etc. I say, yeah, yeah, thats the ticket...
  2. I'd have to have someone help me carry another 2lbs of metal.
  3. This should be interesting.  I find it hard to believe.   http://backgroundchecks.org/25-safest-cities-in-tennessee-2016.html
  4. I read a thread a few weeks ago about keeping up with your teenage drivers. I'm sorry, I couldn't find the durn thread.  Beat me. Disclaimer.  I don't have squat to do with verizon, and take note that there are other models that do some sort of the same thing.   I saw the ad on TV last night and though one of your paranoid middle agers might be interested.  I don't have any kids, and I could care less. Drown em all I say.  I'm just kidden.  Here.   http://www.theverge.com/2016/2/17/11026184/verizon-hum-teen-driver-location-speed-tracking-update     Edit:  I used to be high tech, but I still use a flip phone, and if you want to text me you are SOL.  Bell made the phone for talkin.  Now I saw something on the news last night bout sexting. Is it time to upgrade? ;)
  5. Hummm, how about this story instead   http://www.dnj.com/story/news/2015/08/07/smyrna-police-one-custody-friday-shooting/31309671/   SMYRNA – No one was injured Friday in a shooting in a parking lot of a strip mall along South Lowry Street at Enon Springs Road, Smyrna Police Department Bobby Gibson stated in an email to The Daily News Journal. The incident was the result of an attempted aggravated robbery, he added. Earlier reports led police to believe the incident involved a shootout between two vehicles, but Gibson retracted that initial statement, saying instead “there is no evidence to support that claim.” “We have determined that only one gunshot occurred and neither vehicle was moving at the time of the shooting,” Gibson said in the email. Smyrna Police intercepted a vehicle involved shortly after the incident, and the occupants were taken into custody, according to the email. Murfreesboro Police intercepted a second involved vehicle after it entered their city and those occupants were taken into custody, Gibson stated. As of late Friday afternoon, Gibson said, “we have placed one person in custody in relation to this incident but are not releasing the identity at this time. “Other charges are pending in this investigation.” Gibson said no other information will be available in the case until police are ready to release the name of the suspect.
  6. So much for the grapevine.
  7. http://wkrn.com/2015/08/07/suspects-in-custody-after-shootout-between-2-cars-in-smyrna/   SMYRNA, Tenn. (WKRN) – A few people were taken into custody in both Smyrna and Murfreesboro after shots were fired between two cars Friday afternoon. Smyrna police got several 911 calls around 12:50 p.m. that people in two cars were shooting at each other in the area of Regions bank and Wendy’s on Lowry Street. One of the cars was stopped in Smyrna and both occupants were taken into custody The second car was pursued for a short time and ultimately stopped a short time later in Murfreesboro on Middle Tennessee Boulevard. The occupants were also taken into custody and now face possibly charges of fleeing to elude, among others. Injuries have not yet been reported. The investigation is ongoing.

  10. Sign above business says Smyrna Gun.  On the building side is says Smyrna Ammo.
  11. I heard thru the grapevine that 2 men fighting over a gun, lead (no pun intended) to one being shot.  It happened on S. Lowery St./Enon Springs road.  The "crowd" was gathered across from Hardees in that parking lot between those two commercial buildings.   I think there is a gun shop in the building on the corner and I think there is either a pawn shop or gun shop in the other building
  12. When you can't move very much, your mind seems to go twice as fast, because you have all this time to think.  To keep my mind busy I played RPG's online.  My younger neighbor turned me on to Everquest, and I was on my way to level 60.  He also gave me a tip I'll never forget.  He said, "make your character a hot looking female, and it will help you along in the game." Make it easier to trade for armor and weapons with the boyz.  So I did N I made some friends with a couple folks. I failed to mention I was cross dressing. I decked her out in this short druid outfit, and when she bent over to forage, if you stood behind her, you could see her pannies.   Anyway this 40 year old weapons maker named Falador, whom I had played with for months and who thought I was a chick, invited me to join a guild.  I did and then I found out they were using mikes for commo, instead of typing.  I acted like I couldn't my end to work for about a week, until they had sent me so many instructions I decided, WTF.  So I come up on voice, and I didn't even try to sound like a woman, and I said, "hey falador, this is your convince speaking"  No one said a word, and he typed out.  "WTF ? you never told me you was a guy?  I said, well are you going to kick me out of the guild?"  After a few he typed.  " I guess not, but Don't be showin us your pannies anymore."  Dude was a good player with alot of kills.  I got my friend to set up my keyboard, well really a synth, and I wrote a song called  "Hey Faladaor" using pretty much just 2 fingers to make the noise.  It so happened the Sandbox war was raging, so I used pictures from that era in my slideshow.  It turned into an anti-war song, and if I wasn't so lazy, I might go back and change the "Hey Falador" line to "America".  I recorded it thru a sound blaster card on a PC, before even Pro Tools. So cut me a little slack on the sound.     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCWm3sS7wE0
  13. I hope this post doesn't make me a easy target, I've been hunted before, and I'm not that hard to find.  I don't use it much anymore, but I have a power wheelchair.  I put some ole truck fog lights on the front.  The back has an led strip light for a truck runner.  To help be seen I've always flew an American Flag on a pole just high enough to get inside a normal door.  I put a blue Florissant light about a foot long right at the star cluster on the pole.  I'm pretty hard to miss unless your texting A$$hole. Anyway, I can't walk far without dying in this heat.  I jump in my chair and when I hit Enon Springs,  Folks thought I was bringing up the rear of of that protest, and started honking horns at me.   I thought about going up on that hill above the protestors and sitting for a bit to watch the action.  Then I thought better of it, because if a bunch of crazies came by that group and opened fire... Lordy.   EDIT :  SPD had a unit sitting in the parking lot at the strip mall next to them.   Now my picture is in a FBI folder for going down there to take a picture, and I'm already on another watch list.  I made my first list for taking pictures of a prison in Morgan County, Tn. as I drove by.  Thats why I can't get anyone to friend me on TGO.  I'm too hot. hehe.
