  1. I been thinking about getting another 357 mag lever action rifle.I got a guy wanting to trade a Rossi 16" barrel 357 lever action for my Ruger blued Blackhawk 357/9mm convertible .I have one Rossi 357 lever action, and really like it.The only bad thing about these is if something breaks , where do you get parts? What do you think about this trade.I have another 357 Blackhawk also to shoot.
  2. Dixon, I've got one I've had for about 13 years.I haven't had any trouble out of it. , still has the factory belts on it.I had one that I traded in on this one, it was 10 years old when I traded it.I never had any trouble out if it .I think Dixon is the original ZTR mower.
  3. Best I can tell its a Freedom Carbine model. It shows it on sale for Easter for $550, reg $750. Only difference is the one on the website has a 1/7 barrel and he said his has a 1/8 barrel
  4. Are these any good?A guy is wanting to trade me a Unfired Rifle, says PA 15 multi caliber on the receiver ,flattop with 16" SS barrel. 1/8 twist. Suppose to be a factory rifle.
  5. Don't worry, you can get 308 and 9mm on Gun Owners Club for double the price that it is at WM.
  6. So would that make it dropping about 11.5 inches at 500 yards?
  7. That's good Shootin ! I got one for my son for X-mas,I loaded some 168 grain SMK bullets and IMR 4895. You can cover 3 shots with a dime at 100 yards. It's hard to beat a Savage rifle!

  12. Yeah, the lever guns are more fun to shoot than a 22.I have a lot of fun loading up a bunch of lead cast 125 or 158 grain 38's and plink away!
  13. I'm hearing their gonna ban the green tip 22 LR next. Lol
  14. I was looking on Henry's web site today and for 2015 they offer a Big Boy steel , which is all blue. I think I like those better.

  17. I have a Uberti 1873 357 mag. rifle, and a Rossi 92 357 mag. rifle. I've been thinking about selling the Rossi and getting a Henry.Anyone here have one in 357? I also have a couple of Henry 22's, they have a very smooth action.Just wondering about the function and accuracy on a 357/38 Henry.
  18. I was wanting to try some in 357 cases using 2400 powder to see how well they shoot.
  19. They have told me they've pushed the 30 cal. coated bullets 2600 FPS in a .308
  20. Has anyone tried any of the coated bullets from Falcon bullet Co. In a 357 mag? I was wanting to try some in my Rossi 357 lever gun, just wanted some input from some of y'all if you've tried them. What kind of powder you used and how fast, just wondered about leading.Ive used the cast Falcon bullets and really like them, mostly load them in 38 spl..
