  1. David - I'll echo others. Many thanks for your time and effort to order and ship these. Love mine as it maintained ice for several hours locked in my truck when it was 90+ outside. The 30 oz. easily fits in my cup holder. I read a Yeti vs. RTIC comparison online and the test results were essentially identical. RTIC is half the price, however.
  2. Whoever they ask for I tell them that person is in jail for telemarketing fraud.
  3. Lost my "Moose" two and a half years ago. Greatest dog ever. Still waiting to find another great dog. So happy you found yours.
  4. I did the Bourbon Trail last fall and picked up a bottle of same.... Can attest to its smoothness and taste. An excellent product.
  5. Sir, I have no words sufficient to comfort you other than to offer my prayers for you, your family and your wife's soul. May God bless and comfort all of you.
  6. G22, G23 and KelTec Sub2000... Like the round.
  7. If I never got on another plane again in my life I'd be happy. Been flying since 1978 and down to about 100 flights a year the past two years, 98% on Southwest. So happy it is all domestic now.   I agree with all that Hozzie is saying. I also sit on an the aisle and my favorite peeve is those who have bags/backpacks on and then turn and the bag/pack comes towards my head/face. I just grab and stop it and politely ask them to turn the other way.  Thank God for Pre-check. TSA should have done that 10 years ago.   My wife says that all the people who used to take the bus are now flying.... I shudder to think about taking a bus anywhere.
  8. Prayers for you and your family.
  9. Sorry, I missed this, too.  Glad the surgery went well. Prayers for your ex, you and the kids.
  10. Sincerest condolences. May you find strength and comfort in your faith.
  11. I ran across this at Costco recently and bought one. Very bright with three modes (bright, very bright and strobe). Aluminum housing, uses C cells. I've not had a long history with this light but so far seems like a good one for the price. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00O70XP24?keywords=duracell%20flashlight&qid=1444221781&ref_=sr_1_1&sr=8-1
  12. You may have heard on the news about a Southern California man who was put under 72-hour psychiatric observation. You see they found he owned 100 guns and had 100,000 rounds of ammunition stored in his home. The house also featured a secret escape tunnel. So, by Southern California standards, someone owning 100,000 rounds is considered "mentally unstable." In Michigan, he'd be called "The last white guy still living in Detroit." In Arizona, he'd be called "an avid gun collector." In Arkansas, he'd be called "a novice gun collector." In Utah, he'd be called "moderately well prepared," but they'd probably reserve judgment until they made sure that he had a corresponding quantity of stored food." In Kansas, he'd be "A guy down the road you would want to have for a friend." In Montana, he'd be called "The neighborhood 'Go-To' guy." In Idaho, he'd be called "a likely gubernatorial candidate." In Georgia, he'd be called "an eligible bachelor." In North Carolina, Virginia, W.Va., Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Missouri, Wisconsin, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida and South Carolina he would be called "a deer hunting buddy." And here in Texas; he'd just be "Bubba, who's a little short on ammo."
  13. Prayers for your speedy recovery. As someone who has also suffered and been treated for a life threating condition in a 3rd world country I know you have thought of this but I strongly recommend you get all your medical records prior to returning home, especially xrays, treatment specifics, etc. They will come in handy for future care, insurance and the like. All the best.
  14. Prayers for you and your family from another one who's been there.
  15. Not knowing what they want to cover, I'd recommend you consider wireless cameras. I have a couple of Belkin cameras that work great for my application (in home).  But they are dependent on the network as they use the internet to store recordings when activated and for remote viewing/alerts. Just a thought.

Maybe first give your wonderful wife a big hug. Very nice of her.
  17. Prayers for your father's recovery and for your entire family. A good friend was diagnosed with stage four throat cancer five years ago. He is in full remission now so such things can be beaten. Sincerely praying that all this works out for you.
  18. I had an A.R.E. on a previous truck for about six years and it was of good quality (paint, fit, hinge and locking hardware, etc.) They look and function great but are limited in what you can put in the bed because of the hinged one-piece design.   My current truck has a Rugged Cover and I've had no problems for the past four. It folds flat behind the back window when open. It hasn't leaked, wears well and, when properly installed (one person, no tools), is quite secure to the bed. I have a bed liner also and Rugged Cover provides hardware custom to the brand of truck. For the money it was worked well for me (I wanna say it was about $365 but don't hold me to that). Bought it in Tullahoma at the Line-X place at intersection of Carroll St. and Anderson St.   Good luck.
  19. I also saw the movie yesterday but had a different view. In short, this film is unremarkable and I went in spite of the reviews that generally were very critical. If you read the book you will be quite disappointed. The writing, acting, directing were all weak IMO. There is no depth to his relationships with his family and others especially Phil, the pilot of his downed plane and fellow survivor. About 80% of the film covers his time in the life raft and prison camps. For sure these were important milestones in Zamperini's life but the movie simply doesn't do justice to him. Admittedly, adapting great stories from book to screen is difficult and this one doesn't come close.
  20. Greg - Very sorry for your loss. Its never a good time. Prayers for you and yours.
  21. May you find comfort in the Lord in this trying time. Prayers sent for your family and you.
