  4. Have you tried pocket carry?.Considering your size you could do it with no problem.I speak from experience.I was 254 lbs at 5'9 several years ago and could conceal a full size auto with the right pants(Carhartt,Bdus,Dockers etc).I have a friend who is about 5'8 and 350 + who carries the same way with short barrel N frames.
  5. I have seen your dog, with him around you don't need to carry.

  8. It is the same company.Several years back Eagle changed their name to Armalite. They have no connection at all to the old Armalite company.I would go to www.ar15.com for any questions. That is where all the AR geeks hang out.
  9. Having no children has it's advantages.I can read threads like this for entertainment purposes.

  11. I have known and shot IPSC with Dodd for many years. He is a top notch Professional Instructor and best of all has a likeable demeaner. He also offers other classes as well giving you an opportunity to advance your skills beyond the basics.I highly recommend his training.
  12. Too bad, when they first opened I figured they would give Benton a run for their money but they have been going down hill for the last year or so.
  13. Don't let your eyes be blinded by the new ugly yellow paint on the gate.Pong went wild with the paint brush last Sat. during the work day.

  18. Go with an Airweight or Scanadium S&W and use standard loads(no +p).
  19. Wilson 47Ds are the standard. However the stainless CMC Shooting Stars are just as good as the higher priced CMC mags.
  20. Back in the fall of 04 a neighbor down the street had a sign in his yard that read "I'm the NRA and I vote".Long story short his house was broken into. His guns were in a safe so they were fine but his tools ,chain saw weed eater, etc were taken as well as all his medicines.
