  1. I'm usually of the same thinking. I ended up buying it and it stuck out like a sore thumb in the safe so I took the rattle can to it. I did it in matte black and then a couple coats of matte clear coat. It turned out pretty well. I'll probably make it my "beater" rifle although it's new. It will probably take the place of my 10-22 for when I'm out riding in my side by side.
  2. I think I'm just going to buy from someone. I've since found a used one that I think I'll pick up instead of trying to mess with this hideous thing!
  3. I'm considering this rifle. It's a polymer 15-22 but it has this horrible coating on it. It's from the factory that way. To me it looks like a type of hydro dip coating. Does anyone know if this could be removed with any certain solvents or abrasives? It appears very thin. Thanks for any help.
  4. I heard that song years ago in a commercial for "powerski". Its a jet powered surf board. I've wanted to use it for a long time. I want one of those boards too!
  5. I'm slowly growing my YouTube channel. I don't expect to be famous but would like to gain some subscribers for some motivation. I don't have any gun videos yet. I have just a little bit of everything. I hope to do some abandoned buildings this fall. Im trying to get to 1,000 subscribers. When I do I'll give away a large prize like a $500 gift certificate. Thanks for checking it out. https://www.youtube.com/user/jbrannon509
  6. Listening now. The guy that was telling the story about seeing lights in his driveway sounds like Al Michaels. Love it.
  7. I'm gonna have to go with my Glock 43. I carry the 43 and 19 depending on where I'm going but I never feel under-gunned with the 43. In fact, I feel I shoot it better.
  8. I listened to the first and was planning on listening to the newest ones bit yesterday I got an email saying it's on Spotify. Myself being an Android guy and a Spotify user, I really appreciate this and it makes me proud to be a part of TGO. I can listen easily and download. Thank you for taking the time to give us so many options to listen. Thanks Guys!
  9. Columbia here too. I do most of my business with Kings. Good folks in there.
  10. I got several things including a new lead sled. My favorite are my new Nikon 7s 10x42 binoculars from the girlfriend. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

  12. I've been getting mine cut by the same gal for years. She's always good conversation. I think my cut is about $14 but I give her a 20 every two weeks to stay trimmed up. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
  13. I have one in the bathroom too. Usually under a towel on the top of the toilet tank.
  14. Not the best pic but the last thing I bought is the Remington TAC 14
  15. My girlfriend's family has rented a cabin at Paris Landing state park this weekend. I figured I may bring the boat along and have some time to sneak out to fish. I'm very familiar with Kentucky lake around the Perryville area, which is where we camp but I'm not familiar with the Paris Landing area. Anyone know of any good creeks or spots I should visit first? Are there any good bait shops on the river within a few miles of the park? I primarily bass fish and hope to drag a few out from under all those boat slips. Any tips from the locals is appreciated.
  16. I've got twin gen 3 Glock 34's and 870 Police Magnums.
  17. He also does a video about "Corpsewood Manor" in NW Georgia, not far from Chattanooga I plan to visit. Kind of a screwed up story but interesting.
  18. I'm liking these ideas. There is a guy on YouTube that kind of inspires me to go see places. His channel is "The Daily Woo". He left his job 5 years ago and travels the country in his van. He's a bit nerdy and has some spot on 80's movie references. He's a native Mississippian and Floridian. He does videos every single day about anything from famous murder scene locations to attractions to abandoned buildings. I'm hooked on his channel. He has uploaded every single day for 1500+ days. If you do anything today go to his channel from the video below and subscribe and scroll back through his videos. There is something for everyone. And every one of his videos is kid friendly.
  19. I've actually watched a video about the train wreck that's still there. I would like to see it. I may add they to my list of places to travel over my 2 week January vacation.
  20. Oh no lol. I'm just looking for strange places to do homework on and record some short videos. I can see how it would look that way haha!
  21. I'm looking for small town, off the beaten path local attractions that most don't know about. I'm not talking about restaurants or shops. I mean abandoned locations in the woods or off the roadside. Stuff that may not have a visitor for weeks. The creepier/weirder the better but anything of interest. Even movie/show filming locations. I don't mind and even like doing homework and trying to research a place. Looking in the Southern middle TN area, within 75 miles of Nashville. If you share a location I will assume all of the risks and legalities of visiting there and will not post the exact location or city. I'm looking to film short videos. Thanks in advance.
  22. Does anyone know who would tap and thread the top of an 870 Police Magnum reciever to accept a rail. Not the rear ghost sight but a full pic rail? I've got experience in it in the automotive field but have never tapped a reciever. I'm in the Columbia area. Thanks for any info.
