Welcome to the Jungle. Enjoy Gods country and I’ll keep an eye on Satans city. (Memphis)

I have fished some of the finest rivers. The Gallatin and Yellowstone in Montana. The Russian and Kenai in Alaska and caught many great fish. But give me a 7wt rod or lighter and a handful of sponge bream killer flies and I am one happy camper. Pound for pound bream fight as much as any Salmon or flounder I’ve ever hooked. I love fishing farm ponds and small lakes when the dogwood trees bloom. Usually mid April. The nesting/breeding season is almost the same as the blooming.
Take a kid and share the smiles. My Grandfather would only let us fish with fly rods if we were fishing with him and we always caught fish unless the cattle were huddled up tight in the fields and he would turn the truck around. Something about the weather but damn it works.
Go ahead and plan a vacation and fish some famous waters but in the meanwhile if you get near Colliervile and want to wet a hook shoot me a PM. I’ll even loan you a fly rod for the day.

A friend of mine is an attorney and brought me a revolver to evaluate. Haha what was left of it. His client was at an indoor range and ran out of ammo. Billy Bob gun range employee gave him a 454 casull to send down range. (Wrong caliber). One pull of the trigger and the back strap was bowed up and the cylinder is now in 2 pieces and the spent Carthage was stuck in one of the cylinders. I pled ignorance and suggested he send it to the manufacturer for their opinion. No one was hurt but that Taurus was junk. Range settled out of court for an undisclosed amount. DUH.

Now that would put prior restraint to the ultimate test.

One more reason I tell people I live in Collierville and don’t mention it’s anywhere near Memphis.

Are any of them red letter. The W under the action is red paint filled.

Glad to know I’m not alone. Maybe we should form a support group. Probably get bigger discounts if we purchase together.

Beautiful specimen. Mine, along with everyone I’ve ever seen for sale had the back of the grip chipped off from dropping. Those grips are worth $200 all day. GLWS

Bought mine nearly 30 years ago and it still runs like a sawing machine. And yes, I carry it almost daily.

Hold up there Bubba! Your first 1911 MUST be in .45acp. Further, it should be a basic G.I. style pistol. Otherwise you'll be cheating yourself out of the 1911 experience. Know where it all started and you'll be amazed as to where it can go from there.
I think a good starting point is the Rock Island G.I. model. A really good, reliable pistol at a good price. It will be your first, but it won't be your last. You can move up from there with a much better idea of what you want the final result to be.
I own a bunch of 1911s. Most are .45acp. A few are in the other original caliber, .38 Super. I only own one in 9mm and all I can say for that is meh! Ain't what I thought it should be. I shot it a couple of times and its sat in the safe ever since. Wish I had never bought it.
IMHO 9mm 1911s are for wimps who can't handle a real gun.
If you want a 1911-ish gun in 9mm, go with a Hi-Power. Now that's the perfect 9mm SA pistol.
Your first must be a 45. 230 grain vs 115 grain. After seeing a tweeker shot 4 times with a 9mm and still on his feet. 1 shot with the 45 and he was flat on his back. The 45 wins every time.

What a tease. You can’t just throw them out there without a hint of a price. There are a couple I would be interested in. Thanks

Emotions are definitely running high on both sides and make no mistake Memphis is soooo divided. I grew up in Memphis and at 65 I can tell you it isn’t the Memphis I grew up in. I live in a suburb and still don’t leave my house without being armed. IMHO if Memphis were to burn to the ground it would be a hell of a start to turning Memphis back into the city it once was. Memphis won national city beautiful awards for four straight years. Don’t ask me when, you can look it up. What a difference 30 years makes. Even driving through on the interstate is a very risky proposition. Memphis is number 1 nationwide in murder rate. Doesn’t that just warm your heart.

My 65 year old eyes have a problem with quickly picking up these sights. I’m sorry but these on a revolver looks like a bugger on a windshield with wipers on high. I’m not really subject to change. I’m still carrying the same bone stock Sig P220 in 45 since 1986.

They support the second amendment but not the fourth. Sounds like the owner or employees need a civic lesson. Stand them up. Then tell them to pound sand on the purchase.

This is heartbreaking and infuriating at the same time

I’ll be the first to put my toe in the water. I worked as an EMT for 12 years and everything on this video goes against the care I was trained to render. I would love to really unload on the police and medical staff, but fear of my comments living forever in print and could come back to bite me in the ass later. THE PROBLEM IS THAT SATAN IS ALIVE AND WELL AND FINDING PEOPLE WITH ANY MEASURE OF SHAME IS GETTING HARDER TO DO EVERY DAY. IN THE WORLD I GREW UP IN PEOPLE HAD THE DECENCY TO SHOW COMPASSION AND CARE. I FEAR CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS ARE ABOUT TO BE CALLED UPON. OMG THIS MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH.
