FWIW, I would send it Fed-Ex or Brown. The tracking is better than USPS. What you are sending is important and to cheep out on how it gets there won't be worth it if it gets 'lost'. Just a thought.

I made two trips to the CHEATHAM WMA today! First and LAST all in one trip! Between the old man, sitting at his bench rest, pointing his loaded 44 mag(finger on trigger) at my wife and I while his buddy changed targets and the kids shooting from the rifle lanes to the pistol targets. Then the same kids were shooting from the pistol lanes at the rifle targets. At more than 45 angles to targets! IE no real guaranteed backstop for the lead! Don't ever shoot sideways on a range! I am DONE with public shooting ranges! I guess after years of training on LEO ranges I am just a little sensitive about some dumba$$ shooting me! WTF is wrong with these people? Guns are not toys and these guys never THOUGHT about where TF their barrel was pointed or where their bullets would end up. My wife and I lasted about 15 minutes. My wife, a new shooter, who I have spent months and months teaching her about guns and range rules, pointed out the goobers and said she wanted to leave because she didn't feel safe around these guys. RANT OFF. Sorry about bitching. My wife and I really wanted a day of fun shooting and the last thing we wanted was to feel like we were at a drunken shooting event.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association of the firearms and ammunition industry, has made clear that serializing ammunition on a mass production basis is not feasible from a practical standpoint and any legislation mandating such action could rightfully be considered a de facto ban on ammunition. NSSF is encouraging all sportsmen, hunters and firearms enthusiasts to contact members of the subcommittee immediately, urging them to strongly oppose this would-be ammunition ban. You may also contact your own state representative, urging him or her to voice their opposition to any bills that would mandate bullet serialization. "If manufacturers had to comply with bullet serialization, NSSF estimates that it would take almost four weeks to manufacture what is currently produced in a single day," said NSSF Senior Vice President and General Counsel Lawrence G. Keane. "This massive reduction in ammunition would translate into substantially lower sales and profitability, and ultimately force major ammunition manufacturers to abandon the market. In turn, there would be a severe shortage of serialized ammunition and all consumers, including federal, state and local law enforcement agencies, would be faced with substantial price increases. Ammunition will go from costing pennies to several dollars per cartridge." The domestic small arms ammunition industry, utilizing modern manufacturing processes and distribution practices, produces between 10 and 12 billion ammunition cartridges a year at already low-profit margins. The three largest domestic manufacturers (who collectively account for the vast majority of the market) produce an estimated 20 million rounds of ammunition in a single day. Ammunition manufacturers could not serialize their product without hundreds of millions of dollars in capital investment to build the new factories that would be needed in order to meet the requirements of bullet serialization. At the same time, hundreds of millions of dollars of existing plants and equipment, and decades of manufacturing (cost-saving) efficiencies, would be rendered obsolete. "Bullet Serialization is dangerous and not practical," continued Keane. "As legislation that would mandate bullet serialization not only threatens law-abiding gun-owners but our industry's ability to supply the nation's law enforcement officers and military with high-quality ammunition, we encourage all citizens of Tennessee to contact members of the Criminal Practice and Procedure Subcommittee and urge them to oppose this bill." My company isn't gun friendly at all. The government forces them allow me to carry. In fact my company screens every single customers as they enter the building. The customers aren't even allowed to carry a knife. That's why I take a gun with me.

What I am looking for is a class III dealer here in TN that has NFA guns on hand. I know there are "dealers" that can get any kind of class III gun out there. I feel that if I am going to spend some serious money on 3 full autos I think it would be in my best interest to be able to put my hands on what I am going to buy. That way there isn't any "issues" and I know exactly what I am going to get. Tell me I'm wrong but I feel I need to find my guns out of state, due to the lack of what is on hand and find somebody(I can trust) to do the transfer for me. So, short story long, where is everybody in TN getting there hands on NFA stuff? Thanks in advance. T
