  2. I'm located in Old Hickory between Hermitage and Madison. Asking 900.00 but will consider a reasonable offer. there are 5 32 round mag, a scope and a bipod.
  3. I have a New Carlson Heavyweight TSS .675 choke tube for the Mossberg M835 and M935. Its never been in a gun I bought it new and then sold the gun. This choke was the one that produced the most consistent patterns out of the other TSS variants. The choke may interchange with other shotguns but you will need to know that. Asking $40 obo.
  4. With free shipping on 5+ my total for 8 mags was $78.93! I know this use to be pretty common, but I haven't seen em that low in a while. Use coupon code: PMAG -southernasylum
  5. Grip upgrade on the EDC. The P365 XL grip was pretty much perfect for me as it is but, I like the Wilson Combat P320 model so much more than the OEM. I figured it would be worth the 65 dollars to try it on the P365 too. First impressions, this thing points great and the front and back strap texture is more aggressive (more positive). Holster fit is still just as positive for me which is a plus.
  6. I need some opinions on some items i want to buy without end up wasting money. I need a new holster for my Glock G45 9mm to wear outside the waistline. Maybe something that locks over the back of the slide while in the holster. Any manufacturers i should consider? I need a rifle case for my AR. It has a 16" barrel and 32" total in length. Id like to have enough space for the rifle a side arm and a couole of mags. Ive seen plano, pelican, savior nanuk and case club on amazon. Looking for something sturdy but not something i need to spend a arm and a leg on. Finally im looking to buy a "tactical" magazine ammo box to store my 5.56 mags in maybe 9mm as well. Cant seem to find a quality one, prefer metal instead of plastic. Thanks in advance.
  7. So, I’m getting (re)acquainted with firearms a bit late in life; so I want to push forward with the greatest degree of efficiency I can. One training aid that has caught my attention is the Mantis X. Yes, there are plenty of reviews and videos out there, but most seem to be from people selling the product or reviewers who may or may not have received the product free or hold a possible bias. Upon review, I really only see one post on the subject here from, I think, 2018? I’m curious what real world experience some of you may have with this (or similar?) product over time? Have you seen tangible improvement from using the device? Does Mantis X noticeably improve your dry fire sessions? Has there been any value during professional training sessions in conjunction with Mantis X? What are the most beneficial things vs. what functions seem to be a waste of time with Mantis X?E2845304-D495-4A50-9BA6-1F9BF9F72B51.webp Can / should Mantis X be used while taking video of your target, since it doesn’t “know what you are aiming at”? I thank you for your time and experience! Also, if anyone knows a location in the Franklin / Nashville area that can do a demo, I’d be interested in checking this out.
  8. Mainly for Glock, but.... https://youtu.be/C015cTfG_Vc New, improved, USA made, better priced version of the Micro-Roni. The GlockStore had a weekend sale on these ($199 shipped in TN, prolly 'cause they have a site in TN now). I grab'd one late Sunday, and of course it's now BO'd. Not too thrilled about that. I've worked in retail in the past and short-ordering promotionals isn't uncommon.....but risky, since it tends to PO your customer base. Any Roni folk out there? Your thoughts on the MCK?

    Mount light to suppressor?

I dont see much online pertaining to light mounts for suppressors. What gives? Are suppressors not rigid enough to hold a light and still remain coaxial with the barrel? The assummed problem with mounting a light with a flood lens behind the suppressor is the suppressor will create something like a 135 degree (guesstimating) blind spot (no light) opposite the side on which the light is mounted.
  10. I recently got my first AR pistol in .223/5.56, 8.5" palmetto State armory with a melonite barrel to be exact. However I'm having trouble sighting it in at less than 50 yards. I tried some cheap flip up irons and a sight mark red dot. Since then I've put a laser and wrote it off as a hip fire spray and pray fun gun. Next I bought a Palmetto AR 9 10.5" barrel that accepts Glock mags. I mounted the same two sights to it and could not zero them on this set up either. I recently ordered some MBUS sights and a bore sight to see if that helps. What would be your preferred red dot? I would like to not splurge on a EoTech but still have something reliable. The more low profile the better also.
  11. The leather IWB holster that I ordered from Tim Thurner over at TTGunLeather arrived yesterday and fits my P10C like a glove! Of course, it was made specifically for the P10C and *should* fit like a glove. I have a long-standing practice of ordering a "Mike's Special" from Tim anytime I buy a handgun that will likely see carry duty. Consequently, I have a library of his holsters, all of the similar design, for a lot of handguns. They have always been of top quality, rugged and reliable, and extremely comfortable to wear.
  12. A new Senate bill introduced in June by Senators Mike Lee and Mike Crapo would remove federal regulations of firearm silencers, classifying them as firearm accessories. This bill, known as the Silencers Helping Us Save Hearing (SHUSH) Act, would take the Hearing Protection Act (HPA), which is currently under consideration, a step further in protecting the rights of hunters and sportsmen across the country. The bill has also been introduced in the House of Representatives by Congressman Steve King. What would the SHUSH Act do? The current HPA bill, that has 154 co-sponsors, would be a victory for gun enthusiasts across the nation—eliminating processing delays in the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and getting rid of costly tax stamps. However, the HPA bill would still include transfer requirements, that regulate firearm suppressors the same way as firearms. By taking the bill a step further with the SHUSH Act and reclassifying silencers as firearm accessories, the transfer requirements would be removed, making it easier for law-abiding citizens to purchase firearm suppressors over-the-counter. In a press release from Senator Lee’s office regarding the introduction of the SHUSH Act in the Senate, Senator Lee states, “Suppressors can make shooting safer for the millions of hunters and sportsmen that exercise their constitutional right to use firearms every year,” going on to state, “The current process for obtaining a suppressor is far too expensive and burdensome. Our bill would remove these unnecessary federal regulations and make it easier for firearms users to protect themselves.” Hearing protection for gun owners In addition to removing burdensome taxes and processing delays, the SHUSH Act would protect the hearing of gun owners and hunters. Anti-gun advocates, such as Kristin Brown who works for the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, have stated that “there is not evidence of a public health issue associated with hearing loss from gunfire.” However the American Speech Language Hearing Association has found quite the opposite to be true, reporting that firearm use can often lead to “high-frequency permanent hearing loss.” This hearing loss associated with firearm use can make hearing certain sounds of speech and pitches difficult for those that suffer from it. The SHUSH bill would be an important step in protecting the hearing of sportsmen and hunters around the country. In the release published by Senator Lee’s office, Senator Crapo states, “By properly classifying suppressors as a firearm accessory our bill would allow sportsmen to have better access to hearing protection and preserve the hearing of sportsmen, gun owners and those who live near shooting ranges.” Learn more about the use of firearm suppressors If you want to learn more about how you can protect your hearing while participating in shooting sports and the laws surrounding the use of gun silencers in the state of Tennessee, contact our Nashville shooting range today to learn more! 13. Greetings all, its been awhile since I've been on, but I wanted to show off my new carry rig done in Cognac Caiman and black leather. Just wanted something for those special occasions, lol.
  14. Trying to find a mag for this 1960's .22 (six rd) S/L/LR. The more research I do the more confused I get. From what I can tell it was made for Western Auto by either Mossberg or Savage and is one of these models: Savage 15 or 120 Mossberg 350, 250C or 353 Can any one help me clear this up? R/S hughd
