PTR91 or C308

Thanks guys.  I'm leaning towards the PTR as well.  I do think Century is a better company now than they used to be quality wise.  

I'm going to run it suppressed so it'll be a bit more ungainly than stock...but it's purpose will only be short field trips.

I agree on the PTR or FAL options... that being said a good deal of the C308 is actually produced by PTR(polymer lower, barrel, receiver).  I think it probably comes down more to if you are trying to upgrade/replace some parts to end up with a S/A Cetme B/C/E clone or a H&K 91/G3 clone.

I have a PTR91 and am very pleased with it.  I have no experience with the C308 so cannot venture a comparison.  In the 80s I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time on the butt of an HK91 but could not afford one at the time.  Now I am not willing to pay the market price of the HK91 but am very satisfied with my PTR91.
