Glock sight replacement

Recommended Posts

I'm looking at replacing the factory sights on my 29 (apparently, something I should've done the minute I bought it....)

Can anyone recommend a good, low cost sight set? I'm thinking I'd like fiber optics, but I'm more interested in rugged & easy to use than anything. Tritium is not needed.

I also don't want to double the value on 2 tiny lumps of steel......

I drive to Glock to have them look at my guns every once in a while. They install sights while you wait and they'll update the gun no charge. They do charge for the sights, though. 15 year warranty and it's all function tested (and test fired). As mentioned above - $57. They do charge tax at the factory.

I have Ameriglo night sights on mine. It really isn't hard to swap them out. Oddly enough the Craftsman driver handle for bits fits perfectly, wished I had known that before turning down a perfectly good socket on the lathe. The rear sight just drifts off.

I use Dawson sights for my competition guns. Their sight sets come with "tools".....nylon or soft metal punch basically. I've used the devil out of the nylon tipped one. I can have a rear sight changed by the time you get the pushers set up for the 1st one lol.
