Sam Stoner's Outback Forge in Scottsville, KY

Recommended Posts

I've seen some knives floating around made by Sam Stoner, an Amish guy, at his forge in Scottsville. He uses horses to power his grinders. From what I can tell, they look like really well made knives, but the only information I can find online is a couple of Pinterest posts, and a couple of expired auctions. I was curious as to if anyone had anything from there, or had seen/heard of him. I live in Westmoreland, so it would be neat to have a knife made a few miles up the road by horse-powered grinders.

They featured his forge on KET a while back
