S&W 22a vs S&W Victory

I have the 22A and am considering selling it and going for the Victory. Has anyone handled both? Nothing wrong with the 22A, but I do like the feel of the Victory and its stainless construction. Any thoughts or input will be appreciated

Got the chance to shoot a Victory recently, and I really liked it. But it wasn't at all stock. Volquartsen trigger assembly and other internals. Slide had been modified for an RMR. It shot very good, and seemed to be very accurate.

Not sure I'd buy one, but it was impressive.

You need to keep the 22A and get the Victory and then do a comprehensive comparison report with pictures and data, then report back.

Excellent idea!  Believe it or not I didn't even own a .22 firearm until I was in my 30s.  I owned a .25acp, a .38 Special and a 9mm before I ever got a .22 handgun, which was my first .22 (my first .22 rifle came even later than that - and I owned centerfire rifles well before that.)  That handgun was (is) a 22A with a 5.5 inch barrel.  Since that was my first .22 and since S&W has discontinued them I will probably keep it.  Would still like to know how it stacks up against a Victory, though, and since I don't really have the free cash to buy one right now it sounds like kieefer has the perfect solution.

I've got two 22A's and they have interchangeable barrels, I'll bet S&W will offer optional barrels for the Vic over time.

I really like mine with a Red Dot and several magazines.

What’s the accuracy difference in those two barrels?

I had the opportunity to buy a couple of these. I wish I had.
