New Rugers

VERO1

Haven't seen it mentioned here, so I'll throw it out.  Ruger introduced 6 new handguns for the upcoming year.  I plan to put in an order for one of them, a GP100 in .44 special.  It's a long requested offering that I'm sure some of the custom pistolsmiths will not be happy to see offered as a factory item.

I need to recheck my emails, I only know about the GP100 and the .357 red hawk?

I want to see a factory bain and davis convertible, but I won't hold my breath.

Looking on Rugers website, looks like 3 new Mark IV pistols, a SR1911 Target, plus the 2 you mentioned.

So S&W can put 5 shots of 44 mag in an L frame but Ruger can only put 44 specials in a gp100?

My guess is that the cylinder length is too short... Aint measured, but that's what i think...

UPDATE:  QUICK LOOK UP... Gp 100 cylinder oal... 1.609...

44 MAG OAL... Max... 1.610...

thinkin and opinin leroy...

It's sure good to see Jeff Quinn on the mend.  He started the year off in a world of hurt.  Glad to see him recovered.

Yes, I agree. Just a good ol' country boy. I really like watching him.

Still looks a little behind his old self, but life will do that to us.
