That's right, a brand new Old Man Tool Store (Harbor Freight) is opening right here in Lebanon. Should have doors open by end of the month. Next door to TSC.

And if you're wondering why it's called The Old Man Tool Store the next time you there just look around. All us cheap old Geezers will be there.

I've got several of the 40" x 72" moving blankets that I bought for $3 each on a super sale. They are very handy at the gun range and a perfect size for the shooting benches at my range. I've also got one I use under the vehicles when working on them. After it gets too greasy or oily, I throw it away and open a new one.

Their little free flashlights really work pretty good. And unbelievably the batteries last longer than I would expect for free chineeze. I've never had much luck with anything from them that is supposed to cut, or sand. Did weld a bunch of AK receivers with one of their spot welders though.

Gun range, shooting benches and working on cars, my foot - I currently have a camouflage moving blanket from Harbor Freight as my dang bed spread!  It suits me, is more comfortable and warm than you might think and I don't care if the dog's nails prick the crap out of it.  Moving blankets also make for pretty good cover when camping.

Does anyone know if the diamond sharpening 'plates' they have - you know, the ones that are fairly small and very thin - are worth a hoot?  I think they come in sets of varying grits and the price isn't bad.  I would like to have a few to maybe attach to or carry in the gear pocket on knife sheaths.

I made this from one of their cheap saw horses I bought on sale. I added some fake tennis balls that they sell for dogs 3 for a dollar most places and added a piece of plastic angle material I had around the shop. I drilled a hole in the balls with a spade bit and screwed the balls in place. Makes a light weight portable gun rack for my backyard range and comes in handy when I need to dig to the back of the gun safe.

Well, paid my first visit to Harbor Freight in Lebanon tonite, ( 1st. day open ). Nice store, bigger than I thought, in the old CVS Pharmacy bldg., I believe. I'll definitely be going back. Go by & check it out, it's worth the stop. Saw a few tools I'd like to have when budget restraints permit, LOL. Nice looking Mini lathe, just priced out of my reach @ $500 +.

Like a kid in Toys R Us, LOL.
