Check Your Reaction Time

This test is said to determine how old you are by the number of milliseconds it takes to react to a signal.  I took it twice and, according to the results, I'm a 51-year-old 20-year old.  I was afraid to keep testing  because I might start dating again.

Honestly, from a technical standpoint, monitor and keyboard, mouse will play into this some.

Newer monitors have typically 1, 5, or 10 ms lag, potentially even more.

Depending on what sort of switch your keyboard has, it could impact as well.

For example, I was doing quite well on my keyboard but then switched to trying clicking the mouse. My reaction time went up a few hundred ms when I did this.

But then did it again and got "'We're not sure if you're an actual human being" with 269 ms.

Yeah, ...I got that about the 6/7th time. lol I laughed at it. Mostly, I range from 67(too dang close) to 42. As I kept going, I managed to consistently be 42.

I wish.

Thanks to gun sane for posting this.  It is fun whether it is very 'scientific' or not.

I first tried it 10 times with the keyboard as I thought 10 times should give me a pretty good indication.  I got reaction ages of: 34, 38, 34, 30, 32, 31, 31, 25, 35, 32 for an average of 32.2

After reading some of the above posts I decided to try 10 times with the mouse, as well.  I got: 40, 38, 34, 35, 36, 39, 31, 32, 34, 37 for an average of 35.6

Not great, I guess, but considering I am 45 (will be 46 come June) I'll take either one of them and be satisfied.
