MCTS falling steel match sat and sun 3-25 and 3-26

Music City Tactical Shooters will be holding a Falling Steel match this Saturday and Sunday (03-25 and 03-26) at our outdoor facilities in Dickson, TN.

 

Setup begins at 7am, shooters meeting at 8:45, rounds downrange at 9am.  We will have 5-6 stages of challenging fun.

 

We offer a safe and fun atmosphere. We welcome new shooters and offer instruction and coaching during the match. Come out and bring your friends.

 

Divisions Saturday:

Pistol

Shotgun

Pistol caliber carbine

100 without looking based on past match designs.  I will bring 150 pistol rounds but probably will need that many for shotgun also.

 

Good to hear.  I have a couple of the Shadow 2, come out and give it a try.

I guess I will shoot shotgun.  Are we reloading(and there will be a bunch) from belt area with holders or pockets/old clay vest?


I got one of those "load 4" carriers. Practiced on it a bit, but not efficient yet. Will probably just do 2 at a time from it, which is going to be a lot faster than fishing them out of the shell bag like last time!

Hmmmm...will bring the stock 2 to compare with shadow 2.

The day before (Saturday) there was 2 sets of barrels blocking on of the TX stars (on the far right).  Some competitors shot the top plate so we'll the other targets never moved to allow them a chance to even shoot at them.  It happened to other competitors in another group.  So instead of having a different course on different days the scores would have been altered.  We also did not want to lower the round count so we thru it out on Saturday.

 

I thought you overheard that discussion.  My apologies.

No worries. Fun match. I ordered me a shadow 2.  Just kidding. I LOve the stock 2. If I was starting, its the gun to have for production.
