Chicago woman gets probation for straw purchase

I just got back from Chicago where I had to stay over for a business meeting.  I felt completely naked without my sidearm, but given the level of crazy (gun laws) in Chicago, I didn't want to risk taking it along.  It would seem that perhaps my worry was unfounded.  Look how this woman was handled by Cook Co. for straw purchases and other violations.  Now I've seen everything!

Well, see, that was just a woman illegally buying guns, falsifying police reports and selling the guns to gangs.  If this had been a case of a woman using a firearm to defend her life from one of those, same gang members I imagine they would have thrown the book at her.

Fishy indeed! 

I knew a sailor who bought one for her boyfriend. Turned out he was a drug dealer and got busted with it. She got 10 years and loss of career. That was in Florida.
