Way folks use to dress, even wore it for supper at home.

County folk had a good set of overalls for Sunday go to meeting. They even wore ties with them.

Yes, for years after he retired from the Tennessee Central RR, Pa wore his coveralls daily, but I can't say they were church wear. Ma wouldn't allow it. 🙂 He had one plaid, brown sport jacket for church wear. Every time, rain or shine, hot or cold.

I love this one! It reminds of going dove hunting with my Daddy on the weekends when I was a kid. I'd brag Monday morning at school that we got a dozen doves even it we only shot 2. LOL

The girl looks familiar. No idea of the movie. But the gun is either a FN 1910 or its later version the Browning Model 1955.

Hard to tell with the grainy photo, but is that Mick Rooney with the Thompson?

Correct.

Mickey Rooney and Carolyn Jones in the movie "Baby Face Nelson" from 1957.
