A robber making a really bad choice

They say Brazil, but isn't the round of choice in South America .380acp?

According to some sources on Googlenet, I hear .380 is mostly ineffective.

Are these magic .380 bullets, if so I want some for my Kimber Micro.

The Bersa's I own were made in Brazil and yes, for the most part 380 caliber is the gun of choice in most of Brazil. I don't know where people get the idea that a 380 Caliber gun is an ineffective caliber. In all I have read it is a short 9mm and I have shot some different ammo maker rounds through mine and I think they have plenty of impact power but that may just be my opinion. I do know I damn sure would not want to be shot by one.........JMHO

"Stopping Power" is largely a construct created by the FBI and other agencies.

Better to have a weapon than have the super stopper 1000mm magnum at home in the safe because you can't carry it!

Besides when the bad guy makes a really bad mistake and robs a store full, of armed citizens or off duty LEO's getting shot from multiple directions they are getting what they asked for.

I've carried a 22 when circumstances dictated it. Shot placement is more important than anything else...

I have always been one that believes that placing your first and possibly your second shot where they need to be is the best option with any caliber including a 22 caliber which many times I carry my Phoenix 22 when making just quick runs close to the house. I have enough faith in a 22 that placing the first few rounds in the right location can also get the job done...........JMHO

Despite popular myth, when most people get shot they either flee or fall down. Whether the bullet be from a .22 or a .500 S&W. There are instances that differ, but statisticaly they are on the low end.

I would rather have a .22 in my pocket than a minigun at home when I need it. That being said, I grew up in a .45 household, so if I can, I carry a bigger round. Just a preference, nothing based on science.
