Factory Glock Barrel Price

Hey I was just curious if there was a market for used factory Glock barrels. I have a 4th gen Glock 19 and I was thinking about selling my current Barrel and getting a stainless one. Does anyone know what a good price would be? Also what do people typically do with factory barrels that would be interested in buying it?

Thanks

I would keep my OEM barrel personally.

What would be the purpose of the stainless barrel if I may ask?

Factory or OEM Glock barrels are "generous" in that, while not match accurate, they certainly allow most to spec rounds to feed readily and reliably.

I have a couple of Lone Wolf barrels and have to carefully tailor my handloads to them for reliable feeding. The Lone Wolf barrels are very picky as far as feeding SD ammo. I've read the same of KKM and other aftermarket barrels. But I also believe KKM will tweak a barrel for a particular load for a fee.

only carry with an OEM barrel...others opinions may differ. But I wouldn't sacrifice the known for the unknown...not saying you would. I have between 50-60 K rounds through my G 19 barrel and it still quite serviceable.

Gunbroker lists a few OEM Glock barrels fwiw.

Just a WAG but they may be replacing a barrel they sold ... ;)

Keep the original barrel if that's what we're discussing.  It is serial numbered to the gun and will make it a whole lot easier to sell the gun when the time comes...at least if you were selling to me and don't mind knocking off $100-150 for the absence of the original.  Even then I wouldn't want it but that's just me.

If you really want a replacement for whatever reason just keep the OEM, put it back in if you want to sell it, then sell the replacement.

Awesome thanks a lot for all of the helpful information. I have a Zev Dragonly Slide that shows a good amount of the barrel is the reason I was wanting to get a Stainless one but if I do I'll probably just keep the OEM one for the future anyways.

Thanks again

Stainless may not be the best way to go. Has to be the right type and if going to a after market you may also want to look at a cut/button rifled barrel.

What's wrong with stainless?  What is the "right type"?
