I just want to say that you build some of the finest knives I have ever seen and I know I will never be able to afford one but just wanted to speak up about your continous making of some great blades and wish you the best in your future as a great Knife Builder as it does require a great amount of skill which you have shown for as many years as I have been a member here.....

I cannot believe that the Black Bog Oak has not been taken. That is a stunning knife!

Guys, I have 3 of GT's knives and they are some of the most beautiful I have. Yeah, I said that. I'm a fan of purdy knives, not much of a user of them. lol

I bought one for a friend, then found out during a conversation prior to gifting it that he didn't think much of homemade or "non-Name" knives. So I kept it. Didn't hurt my feelings to do it.

All joking aside GT makes a great knife, I have 4 that I have kept (had GT make me a patch knife) and have given 2 as gifts. If you are on the fence, well step over to a great knife.

No name?  Why I oughta.... Folks are like that and that's okay. Some folks think buying a big name always means better quality. I just like to think they don't know what they are missing.:P My knifes aren't the fanciest and they aren't perfectly finished but they are 100% serviceable made from quality stock. And they don't cost 2 or 3K like some knives from famous makers. I was lookin' at a few the other day and my wife said "Do you see the price on those?". She about crapped her pants....they were upwards of $2500. Were the purdy? Oh hell yeah. But they weren't made of gold or silver either. Heck...the weren't even SS...just carbon steel or Damascus.
