Grandson said it was a bow trigger that bow hunters use instead of their fingers to draw the bow back and when they get ready to release the string for the shot they just pull the trigger. He said he as about 3 or 4 different types he uses depending on which bow he is shooting. He also has 3 rattle bags too.

Ah, yes..I can see it now.  Mine is a bit older, looks like a t-handle, the trigger releases the pressure off two ball bearings, releasing the string. This one looks like the wrist sling does alot of the pull, unlike mine that just uses the sling as extra support.
