Has anyone given a list of type of casualties? How many were shots, how many trampled, etc.

I read on another forum that 340ish of the injuries were gunshot wounds. There was nothing to back up that statement and I haven't seen anything official.

I've read a few articles that seemed to suggest that number might be accurate. I read that one person is now going to be a quadriplegic, 2 will be paraplegics. I could not imagine getting that news from a doctor. Many of these victims are going to need help for the rest of their lives. I really hope they get all the help they need.

If any TGO members have the means, I would encourage them to make a donation to one of the many groups collecting money.

That guy is a bit off his rails. With that said, some people don’t know when to keep their mouth shut. Also, it wouldn’t surprise me if that was alcohol he was drinking.

As off as he is, I wouldn’t necessarily put much stock in the lady that made that video. In my opinion, she is grasping for straws and attempting to get an uproar out of her audience, all the whole painting her biased narrative on the whole thing.

Does anyone think that woman's "analysis" warrants any credibility?  LOL  Her comments are as crazy as that interview itself.

She lost all credibility with me at 11:39 and I'm really not sure why I stuck with her that long.

Not at all. She runs a “Patreon” where if you subscribe, you can “recommend” videos for her to “dissect”.

What does Eric Paddock do for a living? Can't seem to find that info anywhere. Seems like he may be wearing a uniform shirt but can't make out what it says.

Supposedly he retired when his actual job was too stressful. All because of his brother being very well off.

He doesn’t do anything.  Retired.  That tag on his shirt is one of those annoyances so many garments have now...free advertisement the wearer pays for.

Like the others have stated he claims he's retired and earlier than the average guy thanks to his older brothers assistance.  The shirt label looks like a store brand logo and I'm 99.9% sure I had one just like it a few years ago.  However, I've done a search for sport shirt brand logos and have not found a match yet.

What was his profession before?

Well, that shirt certainly is stylish, particularly the way he wears it, I must say. :)

Not endorsing her commentary - just the only place i spotted the vid. Her remarks are entertaining, crazy and sometimes intriguing

So you stewed on it the entire time the thread was locked, and that was the best you could come up with in response?

We don't agree on something. Move on!

Also, you and your cheerleaders can feel free to block me. No need to act like catty little girls every time I post.

Look short-arm...you're the one who needs to get over it. I picked up a line in the thread when it was back open. Move on with your liberal drivel.

PS: I've been camping so it took a few days to respond to this one.

Shooters Brother interviewed again for 5 hours - says he does not think he is a suspect- police remain mute on the subject.

"He said FBI agents, a Las Vegas police detective, a profiler and a psychologist participated in his Sunday interview."

I had posted about the interview here but the post disappeared.

I seen the 30 minute interview and must say all I seen is someone who is trying to reconcile the brother he knew from the brother that committed this horrendous act.  Yea, he rambles a bit, but he keeps trying to answer what is asked as best he can and again, I think he did a decent job of it.  Some say he is a nut, and he may be, but I just didn't see it that way.  He brought up some good points though, some worth considering:

  • If there is no cause or condition to point the finger at, we are in trouble.
  • 100K to a multi millionaire is not a large sum.
  • He was more than capable of doing all this himself
  • Bellhops will take your bags up with no questions asked, specially for known high rollers

I agree. The brother is likely sleep deprived, horrified, possibly burdened with guilt (as in, "I should have realized something was wrong. If only I had called him more,"), and also just downright annoyed with the media pestering him so much.

He doesn't know when or how to shut-up, so that gives the media lots of awkward comments and clips, which makes the media want to go any him some more questions. He is also probably quite concerned that some of this will stick to him, not only legally but also just socially. He was already known as the guy whose father was a bank robber, now he will forever be known as the guy whose brother was a mass murderer. So he is trying to paint his brother as a "great, ok guy that had to have had something wrong with him" all the while distancing himself enough so that he doesn't bring suspicion towards himself.

And it has been mentioned and covered time after time, but I question the sanity of anyone who ever questioned how he got 400lbs up to the room. Even if you pretend that bellhops don't exist, how much is 400lbs? Sure, he was a slightly older feller so maybe he wasn't as strong as ever, but even if he had to he could have carried 50lbs in a shoulder bag 8 times. In a large hotel, that would draw exactly zero attention. But like others have said, with bellhops and room/service carts, he probably never had to carry the first heavy bag up to the room unless he wanted to.

And even if, by the slimmest of chances and I don't believe it did or would have happened, hotel staff of any kind discovered the contents of any of the bags, do you know what would have happened? Probably nothing. All he had to do was state that he was in town for some sort of shoot/training and didn't want to keep the contents in his car in concern of theft. Hotels/casinos don't exactly have a history of pushing away people that have and spend money like it is nothing.

Could also be that we have been conditioned to watching people, and those associated with, that do major crimes being covered by the media, all end up crucified.  If someone in my family was to do something like that, be rest assured whoever it was, would be going right under the bus, the steam roller, and maybe even a bicycle or two.
