Does anyone have any experience with the 22 conversion kits for either the Sigs or Glocks? Seems like an inexpensive way to target shoot, but I have doubts the conversion kits are of quality and fit tight when converted.

I'd love to have one of the .22lr conversions, but it just seems that if I'm going to be limited to shooting .22 with that gun that gun only.....for the cost of it I can reload a few thousand rounds of ammo for several guns and have even more fun.

I have both the 226 and 220 22LR conversion kits for the Sig. I also have the 229 on the way.

They are very well made and I have had zero problems with mine as long as I use a quality 22LR round such as the CCI.

All these results are with the Mag Plug to change the magazine capacity from 10 rds to 15 rds. This mag plug is using the stock magazine spring.

To start with I have used CCI Mini-Mags 40 gr and have shot over 500 rds in the 226 with zero problems.

Only 50 round of the CCI in the 220 with zero problems.

I shot 50 –100 rounds of CCI Stinger HP also with zero problems in the 226

They do like to run on the wet side.

There has been a few reports the 220 mags have a fit problem.
