I can see where if you were not very handy that you would get away from JMB's masterpiece. Once you learn how to Dr. them its very hard to put them out of the line up.

I remember my first purchase and the thrill of the hunt, it was the beginning of the sub-$500 wave

Googled the crap out of 1911 and found the Metro Arms.

Googled the crap out of Metro Arms.

Discovered a known member here (Dolo) was an owner.

Purchased a Commander with all the mim bells and whistles at the Knox gun show.

Shot it, carried it, went back to the CZ, now it sits in the safe.

But I got one, probably need to get one in 9mm

Have a couple 1911’s fun to shoot but I never carry one. Low round count and to heavy.
