TAMPA, Fla. -- Thousands of gun enthusiasts -- more so than ever -- flocked to the Florida State Fairgrounds for the Florida Gun Show event.

Organizers say they had a record number of people attend the event on Saturday, Feb. 24, almost 7,000, and expected more Sunday.

The manager for the Florida Gun Show, George Fernandez, says they’ve never seen such a big crowd.

I think people in FL may be buying more since there's talk of new state laws there in the wake of the Parkland murders, but I doubt it will spark a buying frenzy elsewhere.  However, let a Clinton-type ban show up in Congress with significant support, and it will be a different story.

It started the day after the shooting.

If you’ve just got to have a Bump Stock or aged 18-20, you may have something to worry about, other than that I don’t see much happening. I don’t see too much support for a AWB.

I have actually been on a buying spree up until the latest shooting. Since the Trump election, prices have been decent. I’ve bought a pile of ammo and a few firearms in the last year.
