Kroger to stop selling evil gun magazines

Recommended Posts

Just saw a report that Kroger will stop selling magazines that cover tactical style firearms. I guess this is their way of protecting the snowflakes. It will also make more room for magazines promoting their Hollywood heroes and Marijuana growing. Guess I'll spend my time shopping at Publix and Aldi from now on.

Wasn’t Kroger the one that stood up to the Moms demand action when they boycotted them because they wouldn’t post?

Yes.  The decision to stop carrying tactical magazines is kinda weird.

It’s not just “tactical magazines” from what I can tell.  It’s gonna be anything that even mentions assault rifles.  Guns & Ammo is at the top of the list.  Maybe the handgun mags will be spared but I doubt it.

I’m honestly surprised they still carry gun mags.  It’s rare that I stop and browse that department but it usually is very well stocked with a wide selection.

I’m kinda surprised any magazine, gun or otherwise, can stay in business.

From what I read earlier, Kroger is one of the biggest magazine retailers in the country and as gun rags are not found in great quantity, if at all, at most other places that sell magazines, this could see many stop printing.

When Kroger moved their operations from Nashville to Louisville, KY and the people that worked there for many years lost their seniority and their jobs I was pretty much done with them. They wouldn't have stopped selling those magazines if there was any money in it.

Kroger was founded and is still headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.  You may know that, you may not, I don’t know. Point is they are not local and have destroyed most of the old Southern groceries.

Yes, I know them well. Everything hauled to Nashville now comes out of Louisville, KY.

The Kroger store I shop in does not have a magazine section or rack in it but way I see it, if a store quits selling any products it's because of money more than anything else. If an item is not making a profit it is gone. It other stores I see that have magazine racks I see people standing reading a magazine and then close it up and place it back on the shelf anyway. Why buy when you can read it and put it back on the shelf?
