Before I get corrected , the slide . Lol

According to my above referenced buddy, the recoil pulse was strong enough to cause the front night sight to fail.

The fix (for this issue) is an upgraded sight package.

He hasn't gotten his yet...

Maybe I’m lucky. I purchased an early G42, no problems. Same with my Shield, no problems. I purchased an early G43, no problems, and I’m betting than I won’t have an issue with the P365 either.

I've had mine for about a week with 200 rounds through it and no issues.  Bought at a local shop for $499.

And then.... went out Friday to put a few more rounds through it before putting it in the rotation and as I was firing noticed the sight picture changing.... rear sight had moved all the way right on the slide by the end of the mag. Can easily move it back and forth with just a push of a finger.

I'll be calling CS Monday morning.

I have one, and after a few hundred rounds without a single hiccup, am proud to report this thing is awesome.

The stock mags are great, but I really prefer the 12 rounder.  Great trigger pull, very accurate and manageable recoil (especially for a gun this small).

Manufacture date of 3/23.

Figured I'd update on my above comments.

Sig CS sent me a RMA as soon as I talked to them. Gun sent and back in about a week with a rear sight replacement. 200 more rounds through it and no issues.

600 rounds total without a single FTE, FTF or slide lock back problem. Little gun is a keeper!

Looking at the lists at Buds, out of stock, but they list 2...one has sig night sights, one has X-RAY3 Day/Night Sights...is there a difference?  The one i looked at yesterday at my LGS had night sights with a green band around the front nighjt sight which I assume was to enhance daytime sightinmg...do thyey have 2 different kinds or is that just a mistake in the way Buds posted the ad>?

From everything I've seen they all ship with the X-ray sights. They had issues with the sig night sights and the front sight not holding up. If for some reason Bud's still had one with the regular night sights (I doubt) a call to Sig CS and you'll get a set of X-ray, which is what you saw at your LGS.
