New York weaponizes regulatory powers against NRA

Recommended Posts

This is the very thing the Germans  did to the Jews in the late 30s. Made it illegal to deal with the Jews. Now the POS cuomo is doing it to us as firearm owners and dealers.

Oh well... they got their asses kicked, and their fearless leader wound up whacking himself.

But it took a lot of outside intervention and cost a huge amount of lives. Not sure we want it to go like that,

They are really after the NRA:

New York Declares NRA’s Carry Guard ‘Illegal,’ Bars Residents from Acquiring Policies

http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2018/05/03/new-york-declares-nras-carry-guard-illegal-bars-residents-acquiring-policies/

The irony is New York had to approve this before it could ever be sold in the first place. And New York is the toughest state to get anything approved.

How can they even begin to declare insurance illegal?

It's not illegal, it is either approved or not for offering by each state department of insurance.  The insurance industry is so highly regulated it borders on the line of insanity.   I represent very large companies that literally have separate companies just for their New York business.

The DFS person quoted in this article is wrong as those were exclusions in the policy.  Most insurance policies exclude illegal activity, etc.  Of course liberal logic isn't going to let a few words in a sentence keep them from twisting the facts.  More media grandstanding for effect.

So Don Cuomo can't just florish a pen and call the NRA insurances null and void, correct?

THe statists are putting together a full court press against the armed... jackals against sheepdogs.

From what I have gathered, Cummo is in a "how liberal can you get?" contest with some other idiot. He is doing most of this stuff for self centered reasons... to keep his cushy gig. I really hate that guy.
