Gun show at Kerbela Shrine Temple?

Recommended Posts

I haven’t been to this one in about two years but it usually is very interesting.  Thinking about going tomorrow.

Be aware, this is more of a “collectors” show as the name implies.  If you are looking for the latest in plastic fantastic, AR’s, body armor, and beef jerky, this is not the show for you.  It’s a small show, but there is always a lot of cool stuff if you are into older guns.

Wish I could go. Going into withdrawals. Haven't been to a show in at least 3 years.

FWIW, I did go and found it to be better than I expected.  There were some very interesting collectors items on display, along with a decent mix of new and used offerings.  Certainly not the biggest or best I've been to, but I thought it was worth my time and the entry fee.

I'm going Sunday.  One of the carpenters that did my gun room is a collector and invited me.  I had never heard of it.  As already stated, he said it will be about 100 tables.  No nonsense for the most part.  Some will be displays only.  He gave me 2 coupons for $1 off admission.

Attended the show this AM.

Lot's of Smith & Colt Revolvers, plenty of modern pistols & rifles, knives, etc...

There were many collectible/antique firearms, some nice & others tomato stakes.

It was nice to see a gun show without the flea market items.

All in all a good show & well worth the admission fee.

I went today. Saw some very nice stuff and met a lot of neat people. Actually picked up an older but new never fired Italian made Beretta 92FS INOX at a good price.

My carpenter buddy introduced me to several of the exhibitors. One who had a very nice display only of S&W and Colt revolvers. He actually has some stuff he will sell that he didn't have at the show. Meeting up with him next week on a couple of Smiths I don't have.

And I joined the association. Not sure what thatgets me but wanted to support the organization. Very nice to go to a gun show that's all about guns (and some knives).

Excellent event for me.
